ALT Bristol Caribbean Kitchen Table (BrCKT) Networking Event July 13th 2023 10am – 4pm The Research Space, New Humanities Building, 7 Woodland Road We are holding a one-day workshop to bring together scholars and experts based in Bristol who work on Caribbean Studies (understood broadly). This is open to academic staff, students of any level, and anyone else interested. Our intention is to form a network to build Caribbean Studies, both at the University of Bristol and in the city more widely. Given the city’s history and population, we feel that this is a particularly significant initiative. Our hope is to build community and facilitate longstanding collaborations with colleagues at the University of Bristol, UWE, and activists and educators working in the city of Bristol. We invite applications to give 10 minute presentations on your Caribbean Studies research as a meaningful and generative way to build connections with colleagues working on the Caribbean. Pres
