As foretold by many; the grand “temporary soft fork to restore Bitcoin” somehow evolved into a permanent BLAKE2b hard fork: new PoW, new headers, new coin, a mysterious maintainer, and a mining pool that doesn’t even exist yet. The funniest part. You spent the last year screaming that changing consensus to serve a clique was “capture.” That altcoins were scams. That miners don’t get to redefine Bitcoin. That the network effect was sacred. That “Bitcoin” was the chain people actually use. Then you lost. So you renamed the chain with 99.85% of the hashrate “pedocoin,” declared your minority fork the “real” Bitcoin, and created the exact thing you spent a year telling everyone was an abomination: A centralized, breakaway altcoin with a new PoW algorithm, new name (coming soon), no meaningful exchange support, no Lightning ecosystem, no wallets, negligible adoption, and a difficulty crater engineered for a tiny group of miners.
