Everything that gets your attention doesn’t deserve your energy.
Attention is easy to steal.
Energy is too valuable to waste.
Don’t give temporary distractions permanent power.
Starve the distractions. Feed the purpose.

If you’re wondering why Ole Miss is in the collective SEC coaches crosshairs.

M-Club Hall of Fame member Senquez Golson, 4-star recruit, had this to say about Ole Miss, including family and his visit.
Of note: Lane Kiffin is quoted as saying he needed Oxford more than it needed him.
His quotes in the piece are not what he said while at Ole Miss.
In explaining his decision to leave Ole Miss for LSU, Lane Kiffin seems willing to invoke Ole Miss's struggle to distance itself from symbols like the Confederate flag, Colonel Rebel, and the nickname "Ole Miss" itself.
When he was coaching there, Kiffin says, top recruits would tell him, “‘Hey, coach, we really like you. But my grandparents aren’t letting me move to Oxford, Mississippi.’ That doesn’t come up when you say Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Parents were sitting here this weekend saying the campus’s diversity feels so great: ‘It feels like there’s no segregation’” vanityfair.com/news/story/la…
You would consider James Meredith being the first black student in a public university the worst time?

Say what you want…
But the COMMUNITY of people makes Oxford, MS special. Take a walk in the Velvet Ditch by yourself like I did coming out of highschool and you’ll see for yourself what makes it special. Shirley Patterson knew and now my kids will know.
Home is Home🔴🔵

Lane Kiffin talked to Jared Ivey’s mother, @Traceyiv, once over his three-year career.
She rejects the Ole Miss narrative he’s trying to push.
“Everybody was so lovely. A little piece of my heart is always going to be in Oxford.”

Lane Kiffin is one of the best playcallers and offensive minds of my life.
He is also a trainwreck off the field.
Gotta admit though: Even for Lane Kiffin, this is unhinged and gross 🤦♂️🤦♂️

Somewhere out there are tons of videos on a camcorder in the late 90’s filming the family with Toby Keith playing in the back ground.
