Honestly, Elon Musk is the only pioneer left who makes you truly inspired & amazed by innovation. Landing rockets backwards, driving cars upside down...it feels like our great American pioneer spirit went dormant since the Apollo missions, and we've felt stuck in time, but he's reawakened it...and for the first time in decades people are actually asking "what else is possible?" instead of this gloomy malaise of stagnation and planned obsolescence. Just the dumbest thing imaginable to bet against this guy.
Dude. Elon Musk is on another planet.

Elon made some of the key technical decisions and still does to this day. We meet with him weekly (often more frequently). He goes deep with the team and contributes significantly. I don’t know how he does this, but he just makes it happen. Consistently for the past 10 years, and I don’t see this changing.

There are people working hard to make sure people like John don’t have access to this technology. I think those people should go fuck themselves.
John Foppe was born without arms & has been driving Teslas for over 7 years. FSD Supervised lets him navigate the road without conventional steering – commuting to his non-profit job & visiting his daughter over 500 miles away

This is literally rearranging the chairs on a sinking Titanic. @JEChalmers hasn't got a clue. If you have an idea, Australia will NOT reward you and itself. Yes, I say itself, as having people been successful in Australia (and staying here) ultimately benefits everyone. In all my life, I have never come across such a brain dead approach to encouraging innovation. It lacks any worth and only succeeds in people going elsewhere to innovate. The whole thing needs to go in the bin, there is no fixing or tweaking it, its fundamentally rotten to the core.

This is a wonderful example of the Streisand Effect in play. For a long time, people haven’t believed this is even happening & now they’re going to find out all about it in detail. All because a woman called it out & was accused of vilification for doing so.

As a Jew I would feel way more confortable with the Afd in Germany even if they have a few nazi fans in the party than the other side that doesnt plan to deport the islamists that want to kill me and destroy the west

I knew he said it deliberately in his first press conference as Premier. Here he doubles down on the extraordinary confession that for 12 years Ben Carroll watched, from inside the room, Dan Andrews and Jacinta Allan lie and cheat to decimate the great state of Victoria.
In my Government, integrity is not optional.

A government that cannot be trusted to tell Australians the truth should not be given more power over what Australians can see and say online. How are Australians supposed to call out Labor’s lies if the government can pressure platforms to silence its critics and restrict free speech? All this talk from Albanese about a digital duty of care and controlling algorithms is just cover for what it really is: a Chinese Communist Party-style internet censorship bill. Australians should call their local MP and tell them this bill stinks.

Labor lost a safe seat to One Nation in Western Australia. Instead of asking why voters abandoned them, Labor immediately blamed social media. They clearly fear Australians talking to each other online. They clearly fear people calling out their Labor lies. Instead of reflecting on themselves, Labor has now moved urgent legislation so they can censor what you can see and say online. That is the instinct of an authoritarian regime. It follows in the footsteps of Iran, China, Russia and Myanmar. There is nothing this lying Labor government won’t do to hold onto power.

They’re trying to do to Elon what they did to Trump. And Charlie Kirk. Poison the minds of mentally unstable people with lies. The goal is to get unstable to act out violently. The Left knows exactly what they’re doing. Alex Gibney knows exactly what he’s doing. Must stop.

Mwahaha, he's so miserable and evil that he wants to: 1. Give the world clean, abundant energy. 2. Bring AI & robotics abundance 3. Cure blindness & disabilities 4. Preserve freedom of speech. 5. Make humanity multi-planetary so our species survives & wins. Truly evil stuff. 😈
Elon Musk is the richest man on earth. An explosive new film from Oscar-winning director Alex Gibney suggests he may also be the most dangerous. “As he accretes more power, he’s no longer interested in checking his worst impulses,” Gibney says, reflecting on Musk’s trajectory. “Someone who worked closely with Elon told me, ‘He’s the most miserable man I’ve ever met.’ So he’s inflicting his misery on everyone else.” For the latest cover story, THR’s Steven Zeitchik sits down with Gibney in the editing suite as he finishes ‘Musk,’ the four-hour documentary: bit.ly/4qSLyuX
