Today on Rare Disease Day, we announced that two more rare genetic conditions - X-ALD and sickle cell disease - have been recommended for newborn bloodspot screening.
This is an important step in the ongoing expansion of newborn bloodspot screening.

On 10th Sept 2024, we hosted the Sickle Cell Forum in the Australian Parliament House Canberra focusing on addressing crucial issues impacting the Sickle Cell community.
