Your church friendships are shallow for a reason.
Time and proximity doesn't deepen friendships. Shared experience, trust and authentic communication does.
We often avoid initiating deep friendships because it feels like a risk, but avoiding it is a risk too. 1/5
If you want to have deep friendships you need to:
1: Intentionally invest in shared experiences
2: Have deep conversations about things that really matter.
Get a group of friends to follow the series with. It can be a group chat, zoom or in person, but it gives you all a safe place and a good reason to talk about mental health.

The best argument I know for entrepreneurship:
- When you have a job, just one person can make you unemployed.
- When you're a business owner, dozens/hundreds of your customers must fire you to put you out of work.
Which one is actually riskier?

If you got everything you want you’d be less happy.
So then: you don’t really want all the things you think you want.
Why do you want them? You’ve been deceived into believing that your essential nature is to consume, to get.
Truth: you’re primarily a creator, not a consumer.
