Why we are all freaked out... Bodies cannot withstand 24/7 exposure to the nighttime cold and rain.
Preparation is survival as Gaza enters its fourth winter of genocide. Urgent help is needed: chuffed.org/project/149178-s…
We have seen far too many families wake up soaked by winter rains, their tents flooded, their few remaining belongings washed away, and their shelters destroyed. Families who have already lost everything, forced to start over again and again.
We cannot wait for catastrophe to strike before we act. On October 12, The Sameer Project’s North Gaza team visited Jisr Al-Khair Camp as part of our winterization campaign, providing 300 sandbags and two shovels to help protect the tents of 50 displaced families from flooding.
By reinforcing tents with sand barriers and redirecting rainwater, we can help prevent the devastation we have witnessed every winter. The total cost for a truckload of sand and supplies was $362 after 11% transfer commission fees.
Prevention will save lives this winter. Help us prepare Gaza's displacement camps before the storms arrive. Support our Rebuild Gaza Campaign: chuffed.org/project/149178-s…

God help my people in Gaza🙏
I can't seem to keep them afloat no matter what I do all by myself 😞

"Al-Qa’qa’ Mosque Street in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City—before and after the detonation of explosive blocks planted by the occupation army.
The scene reveals the scale of the destruction left behind by the occupation, following the detonation of the explosive blocks it had placed along the street and in the surrounding area.
This is how a place is stripped of its identity—and how streets that were once teeming with life are transformed into rubble and ruin. "

A LITTLE UPDATE FROM GAZA. 🇵🇸💔
Lately, even getting online has become difficult for me. Sometimes I disappear not because I want to, but because life here makes even the simplest things a struggle.
My family and I are still trying to get through each day, taking things one step at a time. I may not always have the words to explain what we’re going through, but our needs haven’t disappeared just because I’m offline.
I’m asking you not to let my family be forgotten. If you can donate, even a small amount helps. If you can’t, please share our story so it can reach someone who can.
Your kindness can make a real difference to us. ❤️🩹🫂
PLEASE HELP MY FAMILY IN GAZA:

Winter in Gaza is heavy rain and cold. Under a suffocating Israeli siege that has turned life into a daily battle for survival, winter in Gaza means collapsing buildings and tents, hypothermia, and shredded tents that neither protect against the rain nor provide warmth.
Those in destroyed buildings risk the building collapsing on them at any moment as well as facing the cold and elements because the walls are missing.
The constant battle for the entire time I've been advocating for this family has been getting them enough food and supplies. Now the cold is coming... The heavy rain is due any time. Their broken home floods with mud when it rains. They are sleeping on worn out mattresses that get soaked. There is a need for personal hygiene products, cleaning supplies clothing for the children and his parents, medication for his father and whoever else needs it any any given point, there is a daily need for cooking supplies, mostly lighters and firewood I wish we could get enough to buy cooking gas 😞..
So many things, tarps, a real durable tent, supplies to fasten it to the ground and make it windproof... And most importantly, enough funds for food for 11 people every day. The World Food Programme has cut its food assistance by half for 1.5 millions person in Gaza due to a lack of funding.
It's so important not to leave families hanging. They have no options. They're exhausted and living under the constant shadow of fear and deprivation.
This family is who I'm closest to, I promised I would always be there for them and I'm trying to get them seen so they can get help. Getting online is very difficult these days. Charging their phones and lights costs money. Acessing the poor and slow internet connection costs money.
How will I keep them getting these basic necessities every day all by myself is what's crushing me right now. They depend on this platform for help, I keep trying so they're not lost in the silence.
Anything helps, posting for them helps
Giving to their campaign helps most, as that's how they're surviving.
I just cannot bear that after all this time, how hard they're trying barely anyone sees or helps them.
I feel so useless and they're suffering because of it.
If you can help, leave a comment, even a dot under their posts, give something if you're able.
We all know what's happening. The goal is to get them to when this nightmare ends, together so they can rebuild their lives.
Link in comments. Every day that passes without support, means hunger gains ground and their suffering intensifies. Which is unbearable.
Your support is hope, it's life for an entire family. Thank you.
WINTER IS COMING, AND WE HAVE NOTHING TO KEEP US WARM. 💔🇵🇸
Since our home was bombed, we’ve been living with worn-out mattresses, torn blankets, and damaged shelter.
We urgently need:
🛏️ Blankets: $33–$50
🧥 Winter clothes: $100
👟 Shoes: $30
(cost is person for clothes, shoes & blankets)
🧱 Insulation: $65
⛺ Waterproof fiber tent: $1,200
We don’t need luxury. We just need warmth, shelter, and a safe place to sleep. 😢
Please help us get these things before the winter rains. I am still feeling the weight of the debts I've incurred just trying to get my family to today, and I cannot seem to catch up on my own.
Please donate or share if you can. 🙏❤️

The World Food Programme has announced the suspension of aid to half a million people in Gaza due to funding shortages.
Families here depend on this aid and the flour it provides to put bread and food on the table. My family is among them. Suspending this aid means thousands of families will face hunger once again.
Instead of increasing aid, it is being cut day after day, while humanitarian organizations suspend their services due to a lack of funding. This is not fair. We are facing the risk of famine returning to Gaza.

💥🔴 #Breaking | WFP: Funding Shortfall Forces WFP to Drastically Reduce Life-Saving Assistance in Gaza
- The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) today announced that a funding shortfall has forced it to reduce food assistance in Gaza by approximately one-third, leaving half a million people without vital support. These cuts come as winter approaches, and recent modest improvements in food security remain fragile.
For the past three years, WFP food assistance has been a lifeline for up to 90% of families in Gaza. Since the ceasefire was announced in October 2025, the program has been reaching approximately 1.6 million people each month with food parcels, wheat flour, bread, hot meals, nutritional support, school snacks, and cash assistance. The program no longer has sufficient funding to maintain this level of support.
- WFP Assistance Reductions in Gaza:
Starting this month, the program is supporting 1.1 million of the most vulnerable people in Gaza with food and cash assistance, down from 1.6 million last month.
- The program has halved food rations. Families receiving food assistance will now receive one food parcel (instead of two) and a smaller bag of wheat flour.
- The number of hot meals provided by the program has been reduced from 250,000 to 150,000 per day.
- Families living in hard-to-reach areas, including those near the Israeli military's "yellow line," will receive a hot meal every other day instead of daily.
- The program has also reduced the value of cash assistance provided to 75,000 families.
- Currently, the program can still support bakeries that cover one-third of Gaza's bread needs, provide nutritional support to 300,000 women and children, and provide healthy school snacks to 200,000 children.
- The funding shortfall is also impacting the program's operations in the West Bank, where the number of people receiving assistance has been halved - from 400,000 to 200,000 - in September.
- Food Security in Gaza:
- An estimated 1.4 million people, or 67% of the population of Gaza, are facing crisis-level or worse food insecurity, classified as Phase 3 or higher on the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC).
- This is a decrease from 1.6 million people, or 77% of the population, at the end of 2025. However, the improvement remains modest and fragile.
- Approximately 200,000 people remain in emergency conditions (Phase 4 of the IPC), where immediate food assistance is needed to prevent starvation.
- Only one in five children are consuming a sufficiently diverse diet. Access to health, water, sanitation, and hygiene services also remains limited.
- More than 80% of the population of Gaza is unemployed, leaving many families unable to afford fresh produce or protein-rich foods, even when they are available.
- Funding and Operational Challenges:
Improved humanitarian access and delivery since October 2025 have helped to reduce food insecurity, but these gains remain fragile and could be quickly reversed if humanitarian funding continues to decline. The latest IPC analysis warns that reduced humanitarian assistance could lead to a sharp increase in food needs.
As winter approaches, additional resources are urgently needed to maintain emergency food assistance, provide vital engineering support, and prevent malnutrition among young children and pregnant and lactating women.
The WFP has received less than half of the funding it received for its operations in Palestine in 2026 compared to previous years.
The agency urgently needs $450 million to maintain its vital operations in Gaza and the West Bank over the next six months, from October 2026 to March 2027.
