Currency Coin is pleased to announce our partnership with Gitcoin! With this partnership, Gitcoin.eth will be allocated 1% of the $CC total supply. Half of this allocation (0.5%) will be used to foster growth in the Ethereum ecosystem over the next 2.5 years, or more, through strategic Gitcoin Grant programs that will support open-source development! To honor and recognize the history of Currency Coin and Ethereum, the other half of the allocation (0.5%) will be a permanent, never-to-be-sold, treasury reserve artifact, held forever at Gitcoin.eth. Gitcoin has transformed onchain funding and has supported Ethereum ecosystem development in countless ways.
