Ivy flowers are an important resource for insects. As the rest of the meadow’s flowers turn to brown, these flowers are busy indeed. #macro #macrophotography #macro_royals #macro_world #macro_addiction #macromania… instagram.com/p/B2V6xHyJaUx/…

Last of the summer grasshoppers, looking suitably wizened by the coastal winds in Man O’War Cove. Another great day in beautiful Dorset with @leesonhouse #macro #macrophotography #macro_royals #macro_world… instagram.com/p/B2URe4LpIRM/…

This shieldbug was sheltering from the overnight winds in the Rosebay Willowherb seeds. Amazing colours. Nice to amble the wild areas @leesonhouse #macro #macrophotography #macro_royals #macro_world… instagram.com/p/B2TgLzPJSlw/…

Herald of the end of Summer, teasle heads are a thing of wonder. Autumn is coming! 😀 #macro #macrophotography #abstract #nature #naturephoto #plant #plantsofinstagram #plantstagram #macroart #macroplant #plantmacro… instagram.com/p/B2Tfvn7JWtt/…

Having a week in Dorset @Leesonhouse field centre. Loving the days out. This spritzend Bush Cricket bounced up my bag, onto my leg and stayed just long enough for this portrait. #macro #macrophotography… instagram.com/p/B2SRt2cJpcp/…

Every summer my family decamps to the calm of West Wales. This is the landscape that feeds my photographs for much of the year. Coasts and moors, fields and ancient rock. #Pembrokeshire #Wales #landscape… instagram.com/p/B1to4FwJul7/…
