My biggest pet peeve these days (many can probably relate!) is starting new projects. I get dozens of good (at least I think so lol) ideas weekly. BUT there’s been a big shift in the last few months. Before - MVPs got built, but then nothing happened. Because my time and attention are limited. Now - I’m waking up to reports of GTM experiments/ad campaigns running/leads coming - all agentically; in my Codex - by the special @audos_com API/skill - with the Audos platform and its AI co-founder Otto doing all the GTM/testing/improving work 24/7.

The more we go down the vibe-everything rabbit hole, the more apparent true craftsmanship knowledge becomes. E.g. when you can get a nice-looking site in 5 minutes (heck, 20 seconds), you need a truly “great” site to differentiate from the 1000 average ones. Same with a specific content creation skill like writing posts, making videos, etc. The thing is - there are only 2 ways to solve this problem: 1. Find experts and pay them a lot to get this done for you (or with you) 2. Get better at this “craftsmanship knowledge” yourself; if not to get all the way there, then at least to get 50% better than everyone else Unsurprisingly, there are more and more companies that are not afraid to be selling this. @vosu_ai ran by @dotnafis is a great example. If I want to make generative AI video, I can try and do some AI sloppy vid myself; or can trust @sferro21 and @SebJefferies, their 2 co-founders with a combined 4+ followers across socials who probably made 1000s of good AI vids. I don’t even care what they’re doing on the backend (orchestrating 100s of creators on their platforms) as long as I get good results. Who cares if it has a human/service component if what matters is getting above the AI slop sea? Are you building such a company? Not only I’d be down to pay good money for a product/course that consistently elevates my “taste” across all things vibe-coding; but @audos_com would love to fund you to make this a reality - DM me. Turns out you don't need VCs to make a Demo Day feel electric. Just hosted an @audos_com x @INSEAD AI Venture Lab Summer Camp Demo Day - giving $$$ thousands in awards to over a few dozen standout builders. Congrats to all of them! This was truly an anti-Silicon Valley Demo Day. One for the celebration of progress; not dancing trying to impress someone to give you a buck. The energy when hundreds of solo builders come together to celebrate what they've achieved over the summer is just through the roof! I mean - the stories some folks told. Literally made people cry a little. Big shoutout to other Audos'ers @werdelin, @thorneny, @zubillaga123; to INSEAD'ers like the mighty prof @hyunjinvkim, and of course to the builders themselves!

August is a *terrible* time for a vacation. The best time to do something is when others are not doing it. That applies to everything. If you can afford to take a vacation during a random April, do that. And instead, spend August building something so that by the start of September you’re already ahead while others are feeling the dread of the upcoming winter.
