I’ve often thought that and a few months later something comes along to eat up the extra power. No harm future proofing a bit. I’ll get one before the year is out.

For some reason in the settings it had changed the clock source to external and all the little faders went all the way down in the output section in rednet control. This seems to have happened when it was dropping connection so it could be my thunderbolt dock that has an issue

Thanks guys. I think the main issue was actually with my thunderbolt dock. For some reason the unit changed clock source and shut all output faders down when it was having connection issues. I have it connected straight to the computer now. Thanks for the quick reply.

If I can get it back up and running I’ll have to get a cheap backup interface that can do surround and get me out of a pinch.

Has that only been happening recently or all along? I’ve been getting a few of those messages in the last few weeks. I’ve tried both ports and a different cable and on a laptop to take the computer out of the mix but no joy anywhere.

Anyone have issues with Focusrite Red 16Line? Mine stopped putting out any audio. Working fine this morning but stopped after lunch. Thunderbolt light is green. Connected to Mac and Pro Tools. Audio metering on interface and Rednet control but no output on line outs or headphones

No, it’s just a screen, both windows always extended the same.

I’ve been getting that all week! And a lot of messages about not being able to connect to the interface and I have to save and quit.

Found an annoying bug in @AvidProTools 2023.6, Instant crash if I render audiosuite, but only if the new clip is touching another clip. Renders fine if I move away from the other clip. Found it using Undertone but replicated with other plugins, anyone else fancy giving it a go?

But how will we know it modelled on something analogue?! The warmth and the vibe and the feel just aren’t enough on their own!!

The new ‘smooth under dialogue’ preset is great. Not that it wasn’t great before..

Holy Shiiit! Guys that was EPIC. From the opening logo to the end. The dialogue treatment, the fx, the creaky foley details, the score. As good as anything I’ve ever heard. I’ll have to go again for the atmos mix just to catch more details. 👏👏👏🤯

I can always go twice! The Eye have a Trinnov system and the tech guy in there really knows his stuff. Going there first. Fair play to you guys anyway, I’m sure it’s going to be great. Looking forward to it.

Torn between the new Omniplex, which has Atmos and bookable seats to pick a sweet spot but potentially a disaster due to other technical issues or the crowd that often goes in there and the Eye, which has the best picture and sound around but no bookable seats and 7.1 at best 🤔
