One month ago, I sat down with President Lula to discuss how government serving poor and working people. Weeks later, Brazil took a historic step: a 40-hour workweek, at least two days off and no cuts to pay for more than 30 million workers.
Workers fought for decades to win the five-day workweek in America. Brazilian workers have fought for this victory, too. I congratulate them on this achievement.
Working people deserve time to live, not just work. Building a better future means giving people more of their lives back. And we’ll keep fighting for it.

No, this isn't the new Taylor Swift album cover. I've cleaned-up this remarkable colour photo, taken 113 years ago in August 1913, a year before the First World War. It is a portrait of 16-year-old Christina Bevan at Durdle Door in Lulworth, Dorset. It was taken by Lt-Colonel Mervyn O’Gorman using an early colour glass-plate process and isn't colourised.
This was one of the first Autochromes I cleaned up for Twitter and I share it again with you because it is such a beautiful image 😍

This is incredible. Unlike the previous decade of fan "recreations" of P.T. for PC which always seemed to miss important but minor details, this is (as far as I can tell?) a 1:1 port of the entire codebase. It creates all of the undocumented behavior I know of perfectly.

THE DROP on Hulu is excellent. A show about creating art in a battle zone. The art is rap music. The battle zone is the Crips/Bloods war in 1990 LA. Authentically written, beautifully shot—the colors are really saturated and rich—and perfectly production designed. It’s created and run by Malcolm Spellman. Beautiful work all around.

In 2022/3/4 I got close to landing one of my white whales. So close that I wrote a spec for a movie that has been in my head since I was 8 years old. We got close with the rights but it ultimately got too complicated. I’m really proud of the script I wrote for THE SHADOW.
