After searching SEC Form 4 filings, insider databases, and reports across all US public companies for the past decade, no exact public tally of full-board open-market buys (every director using personal funds in a short window) exists. Such events are extremely rare. GameStop’s recent case—with its entire 5-member board buying—is one of the few clearly documented examples. Cluster buys by multiple directors happen more often, but complete board participation does not.

Hasbro smashed earnings because of TCG sales. If ebay and btc hold up for another week until the end of $gme accounting quarter, gamestop will have another record earnings ( 3 in a row!). I am hoping for similar price action for gamestop. T minus 47 days.

Interesting read $gme
One of the main tenents of the #otcset, ie the OTC's Special Era Theory, is that the 2020/21 OTC bull market was directly linked to $GME and it's network of shorts getting squeezed. Wall street is a 'good ole boys club' and the network of shorts who prey on the $GME's of the market are one and the same as the shorts who prey on virtually all OTCs. The OTC Special Era Theory postulates that what happened in the OTC back then was a domino effect from the $GME shorts getting steamrolled, and of course other factors played into it like the stimmy checks and Covid. It was the perfect storm, but the checks and Covid don't come close to explaining all of the liquidity which flooded the OTC back then. It was systemic and it wouldn't have happened without $GME doing what it did. That's the theory and I've spent 2+ years being a broken record telling people this. If you go back and look at the chart, Gamestop didn't really start to make it's move until August 2020. That was the first month where it began to test a new 52 week high and from there it went nearly straight up for many months in a row. It technically peaked in Jan 2021, but it stayed elevated until Nov 2021, and only in December 2021 did it start to sharply breakdown. Looking back at the price action, I'd argue the $GME bull market officially began in Aug 2020 and it lasted all the way til Nov 2021. That was the golden window for $GME, and if you look back at the OTC, that was the golden window for OTC tickers. I've gone back and looked up as many OTC runners from that era and so far every single one of them falls inside of that time period. The shorts lost control of $GME in Aug 2020 and didn't regain control until December 2021. Any OTC runner I've looked up came inside of that window. Comparing how that era began vs where we sit now, here are my thoughts. For starters, $GME is objectively 10x more of a bullish chart than it was back then, and I don't mean on any short term time frame. Back then $GME was arguably on the verge of death spiral status, now it's so far from that it's not even remotely in the conversation. The old all time ceiling has morphed into the new price floor, and the reason behind that is the night and day difference in the Gamestop fundamentals now vs then. Sure the short interest is much lower now, but if you know what's up you know the systemic shorts never covered, they simply moved their exposure and hid their positions. They bought a bunch of time essentially, but time did them no favors because Ryan Cohen shored up the company and it's balance sheet over the past 5 years, effectively pinning them into the corner. Long story short, as nice as the stars aligned back then, there's no comparison to where things sit today. So when do I expect the $GME strength to start to impact the OTC/ #otcset world? Well in Aug 2020 $GME kicked things off by testing new 52 week highs, and some OTCs began to pop that month, and by October you could sense something special was brewing in the OTC. Similarly today, I put the $35 level as a very key line in the sand. At the moment, the 52 week high sits around 26.6, so that may be a similar trigger to watch out for, though that $35 level looks like the most significant line in the sand. Breaking $35 means new 2 year highs will print and that will put the price above a ton of price action where there was massive shares turned over. Breaking $35 will be a HUGE bullish signal and the momentum at that point will be undeniable. Long story short, $GME's golden phase from the meme stonk era was Aug 2020 - Nov 2021, and that's when virtually all of the fun was had in the OTC. Be on the look out for $GME to have it's second wave on this secular time frame, breaking that first wave's peak, and look for a very similar bull market in the OTC to correlate with the Gamestop bull market. One final note: I know there are lots of skeptics to my claim and they say why $GME? Why not $AMC or any of the other meme stonks? Or why does it have to be any meme stonk? Maybe the environment was just favorable for all the junky stocks back then? The answer lies in $GME's price action. Not a single other meme stonk has done what $GME has done. $AMC did breakout to new all time highs back when $GME did, but it's fallen through floor after floor and is objectively in a death spiral. $GME held it's old ceiling as the new floor, something no meme or junk stock could do without underlying fundamentals backing it up. $AMC broke support of it's old ceiling, then broke through every single floor it had dating back to it's origin, and now it's just doing what death spirals do. $GME was a bigger deal back then than many realize, but now it's become such a massive elephant in the room that the shockwaves it will cause will make 2020/21 look like a warmup.. because that's exactly what it was.

I am surprised one needs humans to grade tcg cards. A machine could probably do a much better job, and could easily be located inside a @gamestop store. Imagine a turnaround time of minutes vs months..

BREAKING: ACCORDING TO MANY ANALYSTS, AFTER BACK-TO-BACK RECORD BREAKING QUARTERS WHERE $GME POSTED $389.6M AND $298.7M IN TOTAL NET INCOME IN Q1 AND Q2 OF THIS YEAR, GAMESTOP IS NOW SLATED TO POST ANOTHER ~$500M+ IN TOTAL NET INCOME FOR Q3! THEY ALREADY ISSUED FORWARD GUIDANCE FOR THE FULL FISCAL YEAR RECENTLY AND HAD TO UPDATE IT ONCE. THEY MIGHT NEED TO UPDATE IT AGAIN! THIS URGENTLY BREAKING NEWS BEFORE THEIR BUSIEST QUARTER OF THE YEAR EVEN BEGINS AND MORE MAKES THIS A STRONG BUY RATING FROM US!
