The letter Yahya Sinwar sent to Yemen leader Abdulmalik Al-Houthi on September 15,2024: --- My beloved brother, His Eminence Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, may God preserve you, Peace be upon you, and God’s mercy and blessings. I am pleased to write you this letter on the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, as we jointly wage the blessed Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood. This battle has dealt a powerful blow to the Zionist project throughout the region, particularly in Palestine. Through it, we are writing the opening pages of God’s sacred promise to liberate Palestine, in fulfillment of His words, exalted is He: “When the latter promise comes to pass, [your enemies will come] to disgrace your faces, enter the sanctuary as they entered it the first time, and utterly destroy whatever they conquer.” I am also pleased to thank you for the sincere affection, overflowing sentiments, and firm resolve we have witnessed from you during the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood—whether on the resistance battlefield, in the correspondence you send us, or in the messages conveyed by your esteemed delegations. My dear brother, His Eminence Sayyid Abdul-Malik, Today, Palestine awoke to news that you had launched the fifth phase of your participation in the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood. I congratulate you on successfully sending your missiles deep into the enemy entity, overcoming every layer of its defense and interception systems, and bringing the force and impact of the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood once again to the heart of “Tel Aviv.” The Zionist enemy believed that its genocidal war against our Palestinian people, together with the measures to contain and neutralize the resistance fronts overseen by the United States and its allies, would enable it to prevail in its Nazi battle against our Palestinian people. But your exceptional operation this morning sent the enemy a message: its plans for containment and neutralization have failed, and the supporting fronts are becoming more effective and exerting greater influence toward deciding the battle in favor of our proud, free peoples. In this regard, I send my greetings to the leadership of our brotherly Yemen, the leadership of Ansar Allah, and the heroes of the valiant Yemeni army, who have excelled in developing their military capabilities until they could reach deep inside the usurping entity. I also salute the great Yemeni people, who throughout their history have never ceased supporting our Palestinian people and their just cause. Yemen’s proud public squares continue to bear witness to this every week, as they have since the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood began. My dear brother, Our people in the Gaza Strip are living between two realities. The first is the pain and severe suffering caused by the Nazi aggression, genocide, siege, and starvation. This requires all members of the ummah to support them and stand beside them. The second is the valiant resistance led by the Qassam Brigades, which carried out the October 7 attack with extraordinary skill and has fought a defensive battle over an entire year, exhausting the enemy and inflicting heavy losses upon it. In this regard, I assure you that the resistance is doing well, and that the enemy’s announcements are nothing but lies and psychological warfare. We have prepared ourselves to wage a prolonged war of attrition that will break the enemy’s political will, just as Al-Aqsa Flood broke its military will.
