I’m excited to share that after graduating from Tennessee Tech in May, I'll be going back home to work for the Rocket City Trash Pandas as the Assistant Groundskeeper! I'm incredibly grateful for this opportunity that @cweaver_31 has given me, and all the support from others!
Attention Coaches!!!
Our class teamed up with @AthensAL Recreation Dept, to try a Ryegrass project. We were looking for a way for smaller schools, that do not have the budget for a Fairway Mower to be able to stripe their athletic fields.
The class pulled a string to separate the change from one to the other. Coaches if you have any questions, just DM the class and we will be glad to reach back out.
We are sure plenty of coaches have had this idea but never tried it for fear it wouldn’t work. So our classes in the fall wanted to test things out. We used perennial and annual ryegrass to make the contrast in color.

Played 9 holes out at White Plains Golf Course today and spotted some white clover at the edge of one of the greens. Thanks to @swag_drnat turf management class for helping me learn how to identify different types of weeds! #tntech #tntechag #wearetntech #wingsup

Great job AHS Turf Management! This class provides our students with a fundamental overview of agriculture and natural resources, with a focus on turf management. Students gain knowledge and skills related to landscape design, plant and field management, and grounds maintenance.
