What you are seeing in Lucky Star today is nothing short of a miracle — and that miracle did not happen by accident.
On the night we shared his story, hundreds of people shared it again and again. His story reached completely new people, and new hands came forward to help. In just one night, the support needed to rescue him was arranged.
That is the power of sharing.
But rescue was only the beginning.
Treatment.
High-calorie food.
Vitamins and minerals.
Ongoing veterinary care.
A safer, much larger space.
Partitions built especially for his needs.
And an entire trolley of soft soil brought in and spread across his new area.
That is what recovery looks like.
And now we can see the difference.
His ribs are slowly disappearing.
His wounds are healing.
His body is getting stronger.
His confidence is growing.
And he is finally beginning to enjoy life.
But none of this happens simply because an animal has been “rescued”.
Everything after rescue costs money.
Lucky Star is only one of many special-needs animals in our care.
Without your help, we simply cannot give every one of them the life they deserve.
So when you see Lucky Star looking healthier, stronger and happier, please remember — this transformation was made possible by care, treatment, food, time, space, and support.
If you can help, please donate.
And if you cannot donate, please SHARE this post. Sharing changed Lucky Star’s life once already. It can do the same for another animal too. ❤️

One year ago today, Hamas terrorists in Gaza publicly executed several innocent Palestinians from the Dughmash family. They forced people to watch and chanted that anyone who challenged Hamas’s rule would face the same fate.
The clashes with the Dughmash family began after the ceasefire agreement was signed, when Hamas ordered families to evacuate the buildings where they had taken shelter as it prepared to reassert its control. With nowhere else to go, the family refused. Hamas responded with gunfire.
Hamas then surrounded the family’s neighborhood, detained residents, and killed people based on their family name. More than 28 innocent Palestinians were killed.
Even today, only one human-rights group has documented even a small part of this story. Hamas has never stopped terrorizing the people of Gaza.
DOWN WITH HAMAS.

WATCH: Britain’s ITN has released ~4 hours of previously sealed 1989 Tiananmen footage — filmed by the team that smuggled the tapes out of China.
The material, archived for ~35 years, includes a 2-hour crackdown compilation and 90 minutes of secretly filmed raw rushes from the days after, showing military trucks on Beijing streets, crowds, and the aftermath.

🔦Spotlight on Norway!
Norway provides Sulphuric Acid from the Glencore Nikkelverk facility to Aughinish Alumina. The acid facilitates the production of alumina from bauxite.
The finished alumina is then exported to russia.
Norwegian fellas. Where are you? 🫡

Russia, as expected, has started lying about Oleshky. When the humanitarian catastrophe reached the UN, russia admitted that there is a hunger crisis in the city, but cynically blamed Ukraine for it. They claim that Ukrainian drones are preventing food from being delivered. That is a lie.
The UN and independent media confirm that it is russian forces who have blocked the exits, mined the roads, and are preventing humanitarian aid from getting through.
This must not be ignored. Please keep talking about Oleshky. Keep raising awareness.
Public attention is the only way to save these people.
Russia is a monster.

Why don't Western news outlets report daily on the humanitarian situation in occupied Oleshky?
Russia is letting 6,000 Ukrainians starve.
According to the local military administration, no food supplies have reached the city since May 26. There are even reports of families eating dogs out of desperation.
Where are the complete idiots who claim Russia wants peace? No, Russia wants to wipe out Ukraine.

MENSCHEN KOCHEN GRAS, UM NICHT ZU VERHUNGERN. MITTEN IN EUROPA.

People in the temporarily occupied town of Oleshky are starving. There is almost nothing left to eat. Reports indicate that the civilian population is being forced to survive on grass and weeds, while access to medicine, clean water, electricity, and medical care is becoming increasingly scarce. Children, too, are facing these conditions, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said regarding the situation in Oleshky.
“This suffering has a clear cause and a clear perpetrator. Russia caused this catastrophe in Oleshky through its illegal occupation and bears full responsibility for this humanitarian disaster, all its consequences, and the deaths of innocent civilians.
The international community must mobilize all available tools to reach the people in Oleshky, deliver humanitarian aid, and ensure the safe evacuation of those who wish to leave. The UN, the ICRC, and other international actors must use their mandates and channels to secure immediate and unimpeded humanitarian access.
I thank Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Michael O’Flaherty for drawing international attention to the situation in Oleshky. Now, that attention must be backed by action. People there cannot survive on expressions of concern alone. Humanitarian access and safe evacuation must become a reality, because every day counts,” Sybiha wrote on X.

At the @UN Security Council in New York, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister @andrii_sybiha spoke about the humanitarian catastrophe Russia is creating in the temporarily occupied Oleshky, Kherson region, and the civilians trapped there. People in Oleshky are being left without food, water, electricity or medicine.
"As winter approaches, Russia is deliberately making life there impossible. They are starving them to death. No country, no international organization can reach those people. Every day they run out of food, out of water, and all resources to live," Andrii Sybiha stressed.

In Oleshky, Kherson region, temporarily occupied by Russia, people are facing a horrific humanitarian crisis. Reports say residents are searching for food scraps and collecting grass simply to survive.
Russia is cutting off supplies of food, medicine and other basic necessities, while denying humanitarian organisations access and blocking efforts to evacuate civilians. Russian FPV drones are hunting people in the streets.
Oleshky had around 24,000 residents before the full-scale war. Today, only about 2,000 remain, including around 50 children. There is no electricity or gas, while food, medicine and other essential supplies have been unavailable for the past month.
Ukraine is working to organise an evacuation. The ICRC has confirmed that it is ready to take part, and international humanitarian organisations are prepared to provide life-saving aid. Yet Russia is preventing these efforts from reaching people.
The suffering in Oleshky and other occupied communities of the Kherson region is a direct consequence of Russia’s actions. The international community must put pressure on Russia to allow humanitarian organisations access, establish a humanitarian corridor, and ensure civilians can leave safely.
"We will not allow these crimes to remain hidden behind the frontline and Russia’s refusal to grant access to the occupied territories," Ukraine's Foreign Minister @andrii_sybiha has stressed.

I’ve been reading comments about Oleshky, and some people say: “We’ll share this, but we’re losing hope because there’s nothing we can do to change the situation.”
That’s not true. You can make a difference.
The more we speak about what is happening in Oleshky, the more attention it gets. And the more people speak up, the harder it becomes for world leaders, international organizations, and organizations like the Red Cross to ignore what is happening.
Maybe one person cannot change the situation. Maybe not everyone will be able to help directly. But together, through constant pressure and attention, we can push for action and demand that Russia allow humanitarian assistance and stop people from being left to die.
It is easy to give up. It is easy to say, “There is nothing I can do.”
But we cannot afford to do that.
There are people in Oleshky. Their lives are in danger. People are facing hunger. People are dying.
So please, don’t stop.
Tag your leaders. Tag international organizations. Tag journalists, bloggers, public figures and people who have a voice and an audience.
Keep talking about Oleshky.
Keep sharing.
Keep demanding action.
Let the people of Oleshky be heard.
