I found this out, and had to hold my tears in whilst in class. This is absolutely disgusting. The world will see this is happening, yet continue to turn a blind eye. People always talk of "change" or that they care. If you do, then actually do something about it. Please.

My New Year’s resolution is to

One of my longtime Patreon supporters, Fabian, reached out to cancel his membership. I asked why, just to see if it was something I could help with down the road.
Turns out his roommate completely screwed him over by bailing on rent, leaving Fabian stuck with 1,200 euros a month to cover. On top of that, this now ex-roommate owes 2,000 euros in rent and another 700 to Fabian personally. Fabian’s savings are wiped out, his overdraft is maxed, and now he’s facing debt collection, a possible gas cutoff, and even eviction. He’s doing his best to find more work and get a new place, but the stress and burnout have really taken a toll on his health.
I’ve already chipped in 100 Euros and planning to donate more later on. Fabian supported me, and I want to do everything I can to help. If you can’t chip in, please consider sharing. Thanks guys 🫡
