Would like to share out this information on behalf of the Chocolat Club.
We will be hosting a Cosplay contest during our weekly meetup next week, complete with prizes!!!!
1st ~ Any Booth asset up to 2500 JPY
2nd + 3rd ~ 1 month VRC+ OR up to V1200 Item from VRChat Shop
Voting will function similar to the Prom event with the gathering of participant photos/name of character during the event and then around 2 hours in, we will get a strawpoll in discord together for all the participants.
Everyone will get several votes and we ask that you vote not only for your favorites characters, but also for any cosplays that you feel had a lot of hard work put into making as we want to reward people for their effort!!!
RULES FOR ENTRY:
~ Can use any Booth base (personal preference towards Chocolat cause I may have a bias)
~ Avatar must have been customized and uploaded by you
~ Must have Photo taken/character name given by 2 hours into event to make it onto the poll (may allow early entry if unable to appear until later into the event)

Recieved my index yesterday and my impressions so far are pretty good. I did try setting up eyetracking for vrchat using sasaken1102's frame app, but couldn't quite figure out why it would not work.
Vrchat does not seem to be as crisp as it is on my quest 3 using virtual desktop, but I chalk that down to steamlink as it looks about the same between the two headsets when using that app. I'm sure there are some settings I can change to fix that/ future software updates.
Other vr games seem to run great and crystal clear like beat saber and ancient dungeon. (Haven't checked alyx yet)
One thing that surprised me was how great the flat screen gaming mode looks. I tested with cyberpunk (streamed from pc) and honestly I can see that being the definitive way to play that for me. Makes me want to replay all the resident evils in that mode (probably will)
Battery life also ass, but we all knew that before hand. Hopping for a good headstrap replacement via enthusiast kit (if I can get it) or bobovr so I can use the batteries I already have from them.
Also imma just wait for babble to release their frame update in like the next week or 2 and pickup the babble pro adapter.

Should you buy the Steam Frame for VRChat? Let me help answer that question with my own on hands review!
