THE SHADOW PLAYER: You’re not crazy, you’re dealing with a Shadow Player. A shadow player is a chronically sneaky person. The mindset is built on a foundation of entitlement, calculation, and a complete refusal to be bound by the rules of mutual respect. When someone operates in the dark, they aren't making mistakes—they’re making choices. They possess a dangerous ability to separate their hidden actions from their public identity. This psychological wall allows them to look you directly in the eye, act completely normal, and participate in family or relationship moments without showing a single shred of guilt or internal conflict. A sneaky person never views themselves as the villain because their mind runs an ongoing script of self-justification. They tell themselves that what you don't know won't hurt you, or they focus-lock on your flaws to justify their deception. By keeping you in the dark, they control the narrative and strip away your agency, because they know that if you had the unvarnished truth, you would make a completely different decision about your future. They justify their clandestine actions by telling themselves that your standards are too rigid, you are too controlling, you owe them, you don't give them enough attention, or your normal human reactions to their behavior is the problem. If a boundary is tested or a subtle deception is uncovered, their mindset immediately flips to survival mode. They use rapid rationalization, projection, and word salads to turn the focus onto how you found out, making your discovery the offense rather than their betrayal. Shadow players don’t value people. Relationships are purely transactional. They view an intimate partner as an asset to be managed or a resource to be mined for status, comfort, and validation. They are playing a game where they hold all the rules, driven by arrogance and a radical entitlement that tells them they deserve the privileges of you without the responsibilities of you. Luke 12:2 reminds us that there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed, neither hid that shall not be known, yet their arrogance convinces them they are the exception to the rule. If you stay in their circus, they will continue to treat you like their clown. Trust this: they know what they’re doing and they will continue to do it as long as they think they can get away with. PS: don’t engage in their smear campaign, you don’t have to defend yourself, you just have to accept that you don’t know that person as much as you thought, you “knew” a idea that they painted which was clearly false. So take your power back and move on with grace, self respect and dignity without their that sht show. Not reacting only shows them and the demons around them, that you see through their lies and shady ways. You do that by walking in your truth, by accepting the truth of the matter. You aren’t heart broken, you’re disappointed, which will show their audience that they do not carry as much weight as they think they do. They are truly pathetic and hung up on you because they know what you know about them, is something that they avoid facing when it comes to you. At the end of the day you two know what’s true. She tells TikTok “I’m not man enough” but left out the part when I discovered that she was a prostitute.
