What an amazing day. Doing things I’ve never done. All thanks to an amazing group of instructors that kept us safe throughout and taught us so much. All skills we will need to enter the depths of Earth.

What's the dress code in a cave? Surely not futuristic looking fake white spacey suits. The environment sets the requirements. Your project can set a high standard. Here is the stuff milesbeyond.it chose for the #caves2019 crew blogs.esa.int/caves/2019/09/…

#ThrowbackThursday to when I met @AOC and her staff prior to visiting students in the Bronx. Hopefully one of those students will be inspired to journey to the Moon and Mars! #Artemis

Before the Challenger disaster, teacher-turned-astronaut Christa McAuliffe had planned lessons to teach from space. As a tribute her legacy, @astro_ricky & @AstroAcaba filmed her lessons on the space station. Get the downloadable lesson plans & videos at nasa.gov/audience/foreducato….

Space stinks - literally! It has a very unique odor, some people love it and others do not. It does linger on space suits and supplies. xitter.cf/Paraleg94340323/status…

Yes, you have to be very well organized in space because things will float away and disappear. Being organized on Earth is a good thing too! xitter.cf/SpaceyCleanTeam/status…

It is extremely helpful! A big part of the @Space_Station is helping to design life support systems that we will use going to Mars, and learning how the human body reacts to a microgravity environment. xitter.cf/Astro_ManishKr/status/…

The average astronaut training is about 2 years, and once you're assigned to a mission it's another 2 years of training. During that time part of it will be spent in the Neutral Buoyancy Lab training for spacewalks. xitter.cf/Astro_ManishKr/status/…

We don't have personal telescopes on station, but we do have a great view of the stars without the atmosphere, which makes everything brighter and more clear! xitter.cf/smartsan/status/971100…
