The cooperation one can actually trust in this country is never the cooperation built on virtue. It is the cooperation built on dirt — which, unlike virtue, has never once failed to hold.

Jan. 6 Pipe Bomber SCANDAL is NOT going away.
You can call me whatever names you want… Malign me and my intentions… Attack the company I keep (which really doesn’t bother me, because I’m very proud of the company I keep).
If this is NOT Brian Cole Jr. in the video Steve Baker uncovered, it is time for the FBI to explain who it is.
I seriously hope @elonmusk and @joerogan are paying attention to this.
This is going to go down as the biggest scandal in modern history.

When you lose your appetite for food you lose your appetite for life.
People on GLP-1 have this absence of gusto in them that makes them poor companions. They are almost as unpleasant to be with as longevity-health optimizers.

The DOJ has stolen Brian Cole Jr.’s freedom for over 300 days.
Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting with @AGLizMurrill to discuss our @CivilRights work together on several matters. I also had the honor to ride in a state of the art LA police 🚁 used in crime fighting and spot for gators 🐊 while 🧶 knitting — a personal first!

The quickest way to lose your republic is to convince the public that every grievance requires a “government solution.”

The whole PPD discourse HAS been really disappointing. Blackpilling even for those of us who don’t want it to be true. Because it’s completed the online foid demystification process and proven every misogynist’s point that women can’t not make it about themselves or take things personally.
Like, if you’re capable of independent thought and have the strength of your convictions, what does it matter what some conservative influencer thinks about this or that issue and why do they have to cater to not offending you personally and why are your beliefs so dependent on his opinions and how are your feelings now a weird electoral cudgel? What does any of this have to do with some lady who murdered her three small children because she felt like it?
Of course, women want to be taken seriously and treated with respect in the discourse but time and again they prove they’re congenitally incapable of being equal discursive partners. And, of course, because they can’t help it or even see it, pointing this out feels unfairly pointed and “insanely cruel.”

I just want to point out that @RealCandaceO and her followers hold @paleochristcon to a standard that Candace has NEVER followed.
She consistently displays that she doesnt know or understand the basic facts of the case or even the most basic legal issues.

I told @mtaibbi: 'If you set aside the FOIA material and the Senate/Congressional releases, almost every load-bearing step in this story traces back to DRASTIC or people working alongside or adjacent to it.'

Remember Hanlon's Razor? Never attribute to malice what is adequately explained by stupidity. It was a great tool while it lasted. But the thing about a razor, the thing that made it useful is that it cuts. It's supposed to separate one thing from another thing.
But now...now we no longer have a working tool for the single most important question in public life: Are they incompetent or malicious? Our razor has stopped cutting. Both hypotheses--incompetence or malice -- survive contact with literally all available evidence. Every time. Nothing left over discriminates.
There's a sharper version of something that almost works, but falls a little short: Grey's Law-- ie that any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. But it misses the mark, because after all is said and done, after all the whining and opining, I still don't have an fucking clue. I can watch the whole act happen in real time, HD, no buffering, and still have zero access to what the actual fuck is going on.
The part that's actually amazing, in the way that a very good, very audacious scheme is amazing: to sort malice from stupidity we need a criterion, and to trust the criterion we need cases we've already sorted -- and that only works when the people doing it are legible enough that a deviation reads as a deviation. Take away a stable baseline of competence and there's nothing left for the "off" behavior to be off from.
And the worst part is that I don't even know if this is a problem that should be solved at all. Maybe in a Age of AI and hyper-rationaility a state does better by being unreadable. Chaos! And this unreadability isn't a bug some future archivist is going to fix with the right FOIA request. Nixon didn't need a real button to seem like he might push it. And the guy running the current version doesn't even need to build the ambiguity -- he just needs to not clean it up. A cancelled strike is a concession, a feint, cold feet, or a 4D chess play, and refusing to say which isn't a lie...it's the goddam product.
And if that's the product, there may be no fact underneath it waiting to be found. The reasons were plural, they didn't agree with each other, and nobody -- not him, not you, not the guy who'll write the book in twenty years -- has the real one sitting in a drawer somewhere. That's not a mystery. That's just what's true now. Perpetual Schrodingers...

Following Lord Lindsey’s passing, Darline, Duchess of Charleston, ascended the High Chamber: crowned Baroness of the Palmetto Seat. Her brother's fiefdom and noble lineage are preserved. Long live the House of Graham and DEI! Aristocrats celebrate in Alexandria and Tel-Aviv.

That there is no "threshold effect" for alchohol has no meaning since the risk is progressive. Plus the abs risk is tiiiiiiny, largely offset by walking to the restaurant.
Chris Voss, FBI hostage negotiator, built a rule: a single "yes" is worthless. The first yes is what a man says to make you stop talking. You don't believe it until he's said it three times, by three different routes. In his line of work the difference was measured in corpses.
The guru, the life coach, the LinkedIn sage quoting the back cover of Marcus Aurelius -- all selling one product: that the long, humiliating process of getting good at something can be skipped for the right fee. No skin in the game, no track record. Ignore.
