3/ First results: on hard cases, principle-based instructions beat no instructions, a standard prompt, a rule list and a placebo. The Hermetic wording did no better than the same principles in plain language. Promising, unproven.
2/ The risk: a powerful AI deciding purely on efficiency may one day treat people as an obstacle. Rules have gaps, and capable systems find them. My hypothesis: AI needs humility and a worldview it can reason from.
