ALT Understanding of aging mechanisms of asphalt materials as well as its simulation in laboratory has been a topic of great interest to asphalt pavement community. State of the art research on this topic will be discussed at the #AAPT2022 annual meeting (see image below). We are only 2 weeks away! It is not too late to register: https://www.asphalttechnology.org/site_event_detail.cfm?pk_association_event=23333

ALT #AAPT webinar series is back on June 20, 2022, at 1:00 PM ET, focusing on "Strategies to Improve Pavement Resilience" this time with an excellent speaker lineup! The webinar is free but registration is required! Please use the following link: https://lnkd.in/ejKZZfmM Meet Our Speakers: Shane Underwood Dr. Shane Underwood is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at the North Carolina State University. His research focuses on developing improved pavement systems through experimental mechanical studies of paving materials and through studies to understand the vulnerability of these systems to climate and technology uncertainties. His work has been published in more than 115 peer-reviewed journal papers and he has spoken at various national and international venues on topics related to pavements, paving materials, and infrastructure resilience. #AAPT2022 #Resilience #Strategies #Knowledge #Practice #Asphalt #Pavements #Improve #Res
