As a founder I learnt a hard fact that regardless of the conflict of interest some will not support the project just because its 'you' ! And some will be willing to go out their way just because 'you' are involved! Feeling blessed for both.#serendipitious

Bullish
There are ton of new and old devs building on NEAR in the past couple of weeks. Building itself got easier too, so it's really about what to build and how stand out to get distribution.
Few ideas I wanted to share:
- AI Tamagochi - use @near_ai to run verifiable inference from prompt encoded onchain, have each character as NFT with some $NEAR attached that pays for it's inference, add gamification with feeding, dressing. Can add all kinds of things on top with battle arena, competitions, etc.
- Universal checkout widget - let any merchant/app to add "checkout" button that allows to pay via intents from whatever wallet and chain user has. Offer it to merchants, try to get it into Shopify.
- AI encyclopedia with prediction markets - instead of community curation, every fact becomes a perpetual truth seeking market (Augur style). The final pages are generated by AI based on current market understanding.
- Private OTC market using 'private deals' from NEAR Intents. Currently there is no way to find counter party unless you already know you are transacting with. Create a more open way to communicate what are deals open and allow people to fill them via NEAR Intents.
- "Never get liquidated" - manage positions via NEAR Intents to keep lending and perp positions to maximize interest while not getting liquidated
- Event registration where funds get escrowed and let the host to check in guests. If guests have showed up - they split all contributed funds (prev project was called Kickback). Make crypto side events signups reliable again, now across any chain and any asset.
- Code review that is fully private - agent that verifiably privately runs code review on private PRs using @near_ai - Company cap table + all instruments around it to raise funds, accept crypto and support banking
- Delta neutral anything - take spot + perp controlled via NEAR contract that manages it via NEAR Intents.
- Private trading where you sell your viewing keys for people to follow/copy trade. NEAR Intents confidential trading is all private and so one can have a social trading app where people sell "keys" for only select people to see. PnL can be publicly displayed so people can choose to buy-in.
- Private medical second opinion - medical frontend that e2e encrypts and sends your data to NEAR AI to get second opinion from AI in guaranteed private way. Use it in combination with crypto and fiat payments. Allow to have custom prompts in NFTs that people can use as a way to get better expertise out of agents.
- Private Granola - desktop app that uses @near_ai to do private transcriptions but keeps all your records with you (and encrypted with your key backups). Use $NEAR staking as an alterantive to pay subscriptions.
- AI benchmarking with private test sets. Submit harness (or new model in hosted privately in @near_ai) and evaluate on private tests sets and see results that are certified for given model and given hash of test set, without revealing any data.
Distribution:
- Engage @NEARLegion
- Make sure your app supports every wallet via @aurora Intent Connect, so user from any chain can engage with it without bridging/figuring out NEAR
- Engage other communities by cross pollinating
- Don't forget about Product Hunt & similar product distribution
- And ofc X
About time !
Things i genuinely think could happen on $NEAR in a full-blown bull market. pure speculation, but hear me out.
> a $100M meme coin nobody took seriously at launch.
> a launchpad that becomes the centre of the entire NEAR ecosystem.
> a random dog coin doing 50x and onboarding more users than a serious protocol.
> an AI agent token becoming the face of NEARās AI narrative.
> a project on NEAR getting listed on a major CEX out of nowhere.
> a launchpad creator making more money from fees than their biggest traders make from trading.
> a NEAR native token doing a BONK style comeback and bringing the whole ecosystem with it.
> Intents becoming a major entry point for people who donāt even know theyāre using NEAR.
> a cross-chain trading app becoming the next big consumer product.
> AI agents trading, paying for data and hiring other agents without human intervention.
> a meme coin built around an AI agent that actually does something useful.
> a NEAR project raising millions without needing a traditional VC round.
> a tokenised stock or real world asset becoming a serious trading narrative on NEAR.
> confidential DeFi becoming a reason people choose NEAR over other chains.
> a DeFi protocol offering incentives that pull liquidity away from competing ecosystems.
> a points campaign bringing thousands of users who end up staying after the rewards.
> a small team shipping something so good that bigger projects start copying it.
> a prediction market taking off and attracting people who have never used NEAR before.
> a wallet or consumer app making chain switching completely invisible to normal users.
> an agent marketplace where people pay AI agents to do real work.
> a NEAR meme becoming a recognised ticker across CT, not just inside the ecosystem.
> a new project turning into the ecosystemās breakout success story within weeks.
> a trading meta emerging that nobody is paying attention to today.
> a random partnership sending a NEAR native project into price discovery.
> the market finally connecting NEARās infrastructure to the applications being built on top of it.
And the one i really want to see:
@NEARProtocol getting to a point where people arenāt just buying $NEAR. theyāre actively looking for the next big thing being built on it.
weāve seen this movie on Solana, Base and, Bnb other chains.
why should NEAR be any different?
what am i missing? š
Your last word āagain ā hit hard !
Sending all my love and strength to you . I know exactly how it feels .

Cannot agree more !
I am going to give a contrary, controversial, but pragmatic advise: If you an NRI with a stable job outside India, please don't go back.
Surely go back to India if you are an entrepreneur who can create jobs, an innovator, or researcher. India needs you and India is booming with opportunities for you.
But for the rest of us workers, it is better to stay outside as long as opportunities exist. Those calling you back won't give you the jobs you are qualified for.
Even if they do, quitting jobs and going back to India will only increase competition for Indians in India unrealistically. It will reduce remittances and add to inflation in India.
Also, I had posted this before and will say this again: If you are an Indian in India capable to get a job outside India, by all means take it.
Nothing unpatriotic or bad about it as it's always made out to be. Enjoy your opportunity outside, keep India in heart always, and earn well to support family back home.
Indian govt has signed numerous bilateral agreements recently for improve the ease of Indians getting visas to work and study abroad. Make use of the opportunities if you can.
Agree. The AI surge has made the mismatch obvious. Models move in weeks; clarity on a clinical validation pathway for a healthcare product still doesnāt. Whatās needed is a published SaMD route, time-bound ethics/CDSCO answers with a named owner, and hospital sandboxes for prospective studies. āCome back and buildā only lands if that path exists.Situation In healthcare domain is worth pondering upon as a startup founder.
Mr. Vembu, I came back after my Harvard programme wanting to build in India. I still do. But my experience has shaken my faith in the system.
Iām working in AI and healthcare. Even getting clarity on the regulatory pathway for a clinical validation study has been a struggle. In education, Iāve encountered resistance to adopting AI. My qualifications feel irrelevant when institutions wonāt engage with the work. And when basic civic issues arise, police support has been difficult to secure.
Where is the conducive environment weāre asking people to return to?
Who is accountable for giving founders clear regulatory answers? How do educators evaluate new technology responsibly? Where does a citizen turn when local authorities donāt help? What recourse exists when nobody takes ownership?
Youāve built here. What concrete governance reforms would you push for and how can people like us help make them happen?
āCome back, letās buildā is a call I believe in. How do we make the system support those who answer it?
This is the one that keeps happening. The change is in the discharge note. By the time the family is doing the evening doses, they are still on the old list. Double-checking only works if someone knows there was a change.
1/My dog Tommy died this morning, tied to a window bar in our home, while that vet pulled blood from him. He was seven. He was my child. š§µ
2/ He came to us after a storm, all skin and bone, with crooked legs.
He walked my father at 5 a.m. every day. When my father died, he never took that walk again.
When I had a stroke, he woke me with a lick on my palm.
3/ A small patch near his tail. For a year, it was "a skin infection."
Renowned vets. Expensive lotions. Shampoos. Medicines. ā¹30,000.
Every one gave a diagnosis. None gave proof. No blood report. No sonography.
The real disease stayed hidden underneath.
4/ Then his face went blank. Then the seizures.
One night, 11 p.m.: about fifteen cluster seizures in twelve hours.
I called every vet I could find. Some ignored the phone. Some said come back in a week.
5/ Arham Foundation stayed on the call with us and sent us to a public vet. Only then did the bloodwork happen.
Chronic kidney disease. Babesiosis. Hypothyroidism. A year late. By then he had stopped eating, had gone two days without water, and wouldn't let anyone touch him.
6/ I started two fundraisers, one on GoFundMe and one on Milaap none filled up not even one contribution.
Both platforms add heavy charges on donors. In an emergency, these pages mostly move for people who already have their own funds raised. We were left in crunch .
7/ We had no one to help us draw the sample and take it to the hospital, so we called that same vet, the one who had missed it, to come home.
This morning, he tied Tommy to the window bar and held him down for blood.
Five minutes later, my Tommy was still.
Only my mother and I were there.
8/ Due to my BVVL syndrome I couldn't catch what the vets said at the door, in the corridor or over the phone. I needed it written down, and nobody wrote anything.
No vaccination record. No test schedule. No list of what was injected into him.
The doctor was never in a loop with us. Neither were we.
A year of "care," and not one page a family could hold up.
9/ A findable disease ran for a year because nothing forced the test. A night seizure has no door to knock on. Money only comes to those who already have it. In law, pets are still property. Cruelty is still priced in small change.
10/ Arham Foundation's ambulance team helped us give Tommy a dignified last rite. Their help and guidance are why I can finally see these gaps for what they are.
Thank you for treating him, and us, with respect when nobody else did.
11/ I'm mourning my child. I'm saying this because the next parent will stand in the same room at 11 p.m., holding a phone no one answers.
Seven years. My baby. Gone just like that.
No Tommy should ever have to face this again nor should a pet parent.
12/ If your pet seized at 11 p.m. tonight, who would you call? Would anyone pick up? Would anyone tell you the cost, or write down what was done to them?
And if you genuinely can't afford it, where do you go for emergency money? Who actually helps, and how fast?
I didn't find that answer in time n it cost me a life .
Some may even end up copying the
Product lol .
building in public is killing your brand.
i know a lot of you will disagree, but hear me outā¦
you livestream and post every tiny update as it happens.
you breadcrumb feed your users the entire product over months.
then launch day comes and nobody gives a shit.
why would they?
theyāve already seen everything.
you murdered the biggest attention and revenue event in your business before it even happened.
I first mentioned Solana on 2 August 2022 ā Survivor tier, rank #1575. How early were you? earlytosolana.com/?h=Aslimeoā¦
