As "AI and Contemporary Life" and "Law and AI” have become two of the key focus areas of Global Studies Forum @GlobalStudiesGS and the International Association for Law and Interdisciplinary Studies @law_IALIS, it was a privilege to co-host and livestream a lecture by Prof. Lawrence Lessig @lessig of Harvard Law School on "The Governance of and by AI" at East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL). Coinciding with the World Artificial Intelligence Conference WAIC 2026, which brought together many of the world's leading AI scholars, innovators, policymakers, and industry leaders, the visit also provided an excellent opportunity to witness China's rapidly evolving AI landscape. We sincerely thank ECUPL, Prof. Lessig @lessig , and all participants for making this event such a success.
