Mekies says it was Max's idea to only do one flying lap
🗣️ "That decision came from Max. He was very clear about it. We experimented a bit with the medium tires in SQ1 and SQ2. In SQ1, we did an initial warm-up lap, whereas in SQ2, we didn't."
