I lost one of my dearest friends in 2020. I wrote about how he and I and another friend bonded over Morrowind, and why that game's so special to me now: caneandrinse.com/the-real-re…
In light of... everything... happening on this platform, I'm just gonna delete this account and finally move on. Going to give it 48 hours or so if any mutuals wanna hit me up for contact info.
With as stacked as this fall is looking, I'm personally okay with one of these massive RPGs getting pushed back to early next year, no matter how much I'm looking forward to it.
Report: The Verge says Avowed is getting delayed to early 2025 (game is in good shape and the delay is "more a matter of wanting to give the game breathing room outside of a very busy period for Xbox Game Pass")

Very funny to me that Riot has struggled so hard to name their fighting game. It's been in development for how long? Playable at events for two years or something? And then they went from "Project L," which was kinda dumb but at least a name you could say, to "two-ex-kay-oh."

Not only was this my first Wizardry game, I think this was my first Brenda Romero game ever. Sir-Tech may be gone, but I'm super curious now to see what @romerogamesltd puts out in the future.

#secretlair drops were always luxury purchases before, but WOTC's new model really makes it feel predatory. Although I had only ever purchased one or two lairs over the last year or two, I still got excited for new drops, but I guess I'm done with that now.
Starfield winning "most innovative gameplay" is a perfect illustration of why media awards should not be decided by popular vote.
