This has been a devastating couple of days in our community, most of all for those who have lost their homes and possessions. In the coming days we will all come together to support them.
Preliminary estimates indicate that approximately 200 homes or structures have been damaged as a result of the fires. A full assessment of the damage cannot yet be confirmed. Details: fal.cn/3yDqo

We will provide $500 to every household required to evacuate because of recent fires in Halifax Regional Municipality and Shelburne County.
The funding will be administered through the Canadian Red Cross. #novascotia
