Let’s go!!
A bipartisan group of lawmakers has unveiled new legislation that would create a 20%-30% federal incentive for U.S. film and TV production:
• The incentive, stacked with state tax credits, would potentially create the world’s most generous production subsidies.
• “If it passes and it stacks clean, shooting in Georgia or California or New York is the best deal on the planet,” says Entertainment Partners’ Joe Chianese. “Nothing overseas comes close.”

This is really awesome news and will help the hundreds of thousands of crew who are suffering right now because of the lack of film/series work in the US.
A lot of people had a hand in bringing this to pass. A great deal of credit goes to @JonVoight, who took his "Hollywood Ambassador" title seriously for the sake of everyone in the business over the last two years.
Thank you @realDonaldTrump @LauraFriedmanCA @RepLindaSanchez @RepBrianJack @RepNateMoran @directorsguild @Teamsters etc.
SCOOP: A federal film and TV tax incentive bill could be introduced in the House as soon as next week, three sources tell The Ankler. Some expressed optimism it could pass by year’s end.
The likely co-leads include two Democrats and two Republicans: theankler.com/scoop-federal-…

25 years ago tonight, nearly 3000 people, including 23 members of the NYPD, spent their final night with their families and loved ones.
This evening, as the WTC Memorial “Tribute in Light” shines over NYC, our thoughts are with the families & friends of every soul lost on 9/11.
This is very moving. I’ll be thinking tomorrow of all those we lost, the people they left behind, and how much it changed us. There are moments and scenes from that day I’ll never forget, so much fear and pain, met by so much love and community.
Tonight, 2,977 lights rose above New York Harbor, representing every person killed in the September 11 attacks.
The aerial artwork originated from Governors Island and illuminated the sky beside the Tribute in Light ahead of the 25th anniversary of 9/11. It was developed in conjunction with representatives of the families, survivors and responder community.
A powerful tribute to 2,977 lives that will never be forgotten 🕊️🇺🇸

Meta will enforce a two-hour daily limit on Instagram and Facebook for children as part of a record $17.1B settlement with 29 states over social media addiction claims:
• The “Productive Pauses” for children include mandatory pauses after 15 minutes of continuous use and again at 60 and 90 minutes to interrupt endless scrolling
• “Nighttime blocks” restricting children’s access from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
• Limited school-time access for children, eliminating push notifications on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. during the school year
• Robust age assurance measures to more effectively verify the age of young users
• Safer, age-appropriate content controls, including stronger safeguards against bullying, content promoting eating disorders, and content related to suicide and self-harm
• Stronger, more user-friendly parental controls
• Limits on social comparison features, including beauty filters and visible “like” counts, that have been linked to poor mental health outcomes in kids and teens
• Both the implementation and effectiveness of the features will be regularly assessed by an independent auditor and the settling states

The feeling of losing my Aunt Dolly is beyond what feels right to share. Our most sacred moments were private and they’ll stay there behind the stage, beneath the glamour & between our hearts.
What I KNOW is Dolly would want me to feel it, write a song about it, and then continue on and be strong. I have an angel by my side. I always have. One of our last conversations was about music and metamorphosis. 🦋
I will always love her and want to make her proud. My heart breaks for the world, her family and friends who will miss her deeply. We’re in this loss together and we will see her in all of the most beautiful things. 💖 @dollyparton

Heartbroken about the passing of the incomparable Dolly Parton. She was one of the kindest people I’ve ever worked with. She left an indelible mark on me. She was the real deal, Pure love. The world is a little less sparkly today. May her memory be a blessing. ❤️
