NEW: The names, addresses and Social Security numbers of 1.15 million New Yorkers were stolen during a recent data breach at Conduent, according to the state Attorney General's office. It's shaping up to be one of the biggest data heists in healthcare.

Some people, including me, are just receiving letters notifying us that our information was exposed, even though the company became aware of the breach in January 2025. The letter states the company recently concluded its anaysis of the affected files.
