North Africans are known for their curly or wavy hair. Although this might attributed to there “Mediterranean features.” It usually stems from Ancient and recent Sub Saharan African ancestry ranging 15-25%. Arab North Africans having additional European ancestry.

West Africas Igbo’s and South Africa’s Khoisan seem to be the only groups in Africa to completely evolve light skin without west Eurasian influence.

Amazigh/Berber average 40-70% iberomarusian. The iberomarusian were 30-40% Sub Saharan (Ancestral North African). The average Amazigh has 15-20% Ancestral North African. Along with 5-10% recent West African like ancestry.

While true for all of North Africa, Egyptians lack Amazigh ancestry. Most of there sub Saharan ancestry stemming from Sudans, Nilotic like ancestry ranging at 14-21% SSA.
