Ubuntu users: if php2shell-checker says VULNERABLE: PHP 8.5.4, you may be fine. Ubuntu adds the fix without changing the version. Check: zgrep CVE-2026-10961 /usr/share/doc/php8.5-common/changelog.Debian.gz If it lists both CVEs, you're patched. Restart PHP after updating!

Seeing "PHP 8.5.4" on Ubuntu and worried you missed today's PHP security fix? You haven't. Ubuntu copies just the security fix into its own 8.5.4 rather than jumping to 8.5.12. Check that your package version ends in "0ubuntu1.5", not what php -v says. @ThePHPF #PHP #php2shell

I pre-emptively disconnected ALL my sites / VPS servers from the web I'll wait for the patch to hit at 2 PM UTC If you have a PHP website, probably good to take them down until you patch PHP 69.3% of the web runs on PHP so this is going to be intense! Good time maybe to buy cybersecurity stocks? (not financial advice)

Google not allowing pro users to access Argon is a stupid move, Argon 4 isn't even as good as opus 5.5 so cancel your google subscriptions and move to Claude. @GeminiApp @claudeai @antigravity

CLAUDE MOGS OpenAI. I’m on Claude Pro and can use Opus 5.5 heavily. With Astra, I can barely finish one task. OpenAI halved API prices, but also cut the $200 plan’s usage and moved similar limits to the new $500 plan. It feels like users are paying more for less.
