Yesterday, throughout the day, large sections of media ran stories and held debates claiming that the Supreme Court had “rebuked” Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi over his march. But the Supreme Court’s written order makes it clear that the remark was directed at Sanjay Raut ji - and he has already responded to it today. The court did not take anyone’s name even while dictating the order - from which godi vultures concluded that the remark was meant for @RahulGandhi Leader of the Opposition is a constitutional position. These ignorant journalists have once again not only violated its dignity, but this time they have also lied by citing the country’s Chief Justice and insulted him as well. This actually amounts to a case of contempt, because neither the Chief Justice nor the court made any remark about Rahul Gandhi. ▪️But now that the truth has come out, will the media organisations apologise? ▪️On what basis did they drag in Rahul Gandhi’s name, how did they draw this inference from the dictation? ▪️Will they explain why and how they ran something that was never said in court by attributing it to the Chief Justice? ▪️Who was the source of their shallow journalism? ▪️Did BJP’s “spokesperson without pants” mislead them? ▪️Will the same TV channels now flash breaking news and run tickers regretting this fake news? It is once again clear that large sections of media peddle fake news. Supreme Court’s written order has once again exposed their lies.
