I never know who I'm going to meet when I'm out on my bike. On a wet day in Portadown, county Armagh, I stopped to put on my wet weather gear when a van pulled up with a young man and his dad.
What followed was brilliant
Keep er lit!

Parliament Buildings will be lit up purple today to mark the 10th anniversary of Breastival, which seeks to celebrate, support and normalise breastfeeding.

ALT The image shows a photograph of Parliament Buildings taken at night time. The photographer is facing the front of the building from about halfway down Prince of Wales Avenue. Everything around the building is dark – but it is illuminated in a purple light. You can easily make out the portico, entrance area and all the windows. A few of the windows are lit up in white as is the main entrance. You can just make out the small lights of a row of tall lampposts immediately in front of the building. A row of lights marks each sides of the Avenue, leading all the way up to the building itself.

I was today years old (read: 54 years too late) when I realised the tag on a fitted sheet is supposed to go on the bottom right corner of the bed. Genuinely life-changing. I've been wrestling linen like an amateur for decades.
Brilliant day out at Zipit Dublin today #staycation #visitdublin
