ALT A purple background with the cover for Child of the Dragon (A cover with fire on the left edges and ice on the right edges centering around a girl in shorts and a tank top, raising a sword high and summoning lightning in front of a massive purple-y european dragon inside some sort of arena. The title: Child of the Dragon is written across the center in a curly, silver font, and the author name is in a smaller version of the same and says Ashley N.Y. Sheesley). Fire and ice surround the cover in a way that gives it a somewhat 3D effect. The text reads Cover Reveal at the top and across the bottom it says Coming March 10, 2026
ALT Ashley N.Y. Sheesley Child of the Dragon YA contemporary fantasy (March 10,2026) Weird butterflies filled my stomach when I thought about going with him, and I - oh no. Was this a crush? Is this what alloromantics feel all the time? I'm doomed. -Kat (Child of the Dragon) Child of the Dragon features a queer central cast. Kat is one of the POV characters and is openly demiromantic and asexual. She's at a point where it's just a part of who she is, and she doesn't really think about it much. Aaron is another POV character and he's alloace, but isn't quite ready to claim that identity yet. Being aroace spec myself, my characters kinda end up being aspec whether or not I planned for it. Kat's and Aaron's POVs had already been written when I found out I was aroace, so it was fun going back to them with that knowledge and seeing how their relationship already had aspec themes. It was important to me that Kat identify by name as demiromantic/ace because I didn't
ALT A purple and blue galaxy background with art of 4 teenagers in kind of a diamond shape. Kat is in front and she has blonde wavy hair, a gray shirt, silver eyes, and gold magic coming out of her upraised hand. The glow of the magic lights the other 3 characters. Coleman is on Kat’s left and closest to her and has red hair, red eyes, freckles, a tattoo on his arm, and is wearing a green shirt with a jacket wrapped around his waist. He has blue magic coming off his hand and casting a cool glow on his face. To Kat’s left and behind is Jason. He has brown skin, black hair, blue eyes, and is wearing a black jacket and holding a sword point down and looking back at Coleman. Aaron is in the back, looking to the right, wearing a dark jacket over a red hoodie, you can see backpack straps and a lacrosse stick sticking out. He has dark blond hair and green eyes There is a gold frame around them all
