It seems that #Canadians need to invest more of their precious personal time to #babysit our #politicians and make sure they're not doing something stupid, illegal, corrupt or to simply ensure they are doing their jobs, despite paying high #taxes.

The other way of looking at it is to imagine the cost and resources required if each MNO needed to privately design, build and deploy their own constellation for D2D.
Then compare that with AST which essentially rents out one constellation to multiple MNOs.

In Canada, you can randomly kill a CBC journalist, and get out of prison to do more crime in just 1.5 years.
This is bullshit. Our criminal justice system is completely broken.
The Liberals who broke it aren’t going to fix it.

I can see why something needs fixing. I know we don't assign MPs per GDP, but here it is for context. Alberta is at the bottom for both on a people per MP and MP per 1% GDP contribution basis.
Trudeau said he would but he didn't, and got off without any consequences.

EU countries share asylum pressures through relocations and financial contributions.
Spain was recently overrun with 60k asylum seekers. If Carney wants Canada tied more closely to the EU, could Canadians eventually be asked to help carry that burden too?

Half of Canadian bank lending is tied to housing. In 2000, housing investment was 4.3% of GDP vs 8.3% for business tools and innovation; today that ratio is reversed.
We financed property over the productivity that raises wages.

Everybody "fighting Donald Trump" just ends up doing what Trump said they should be doing to begin with.
This was just an announcement to introduce the PROCESS that will be used to approve the pipeline, in about at least a year away. The pipeline is NOT approved.
If you're celebrating this, you're celebrating bureaucracy. Your standards are too low Doug.
You know what - I'd take this over the current world we are living in.
If 2 world leaders have a problem - go to a bar, talk it over drinks and if necessary, fight it out and get it over with, instead of making your population suffer.

@fordnation Who's gonna get fired over this? This is clearly corruption

This measure is a decade too late but EU globalists love bragging about low-hanging fruit.
Coming to Canada soon, once we become an "associate member" of the EU.
🚨 BREAKING: CHAOS IN CEUTA — HUNDREDS SURGE TOWARDS MIGRANT CAMP
Extraordinary scenes from Ceuta, Spain, this morning.
Hundreds of migrants began running towards temporary accommodation at the port as Spanish authorities attempted to relocate people from beach encampments.
The wider operation involves thousands of migrants, while the temporary port facilities reportedly have capacity for around 1,700.
Spanish media are reporting scenes of chaos and tension as police attempt to control the movement.
This is happening today — 18 September.
And once again Europe faces the same fundamental question:
Who is actually in control of its borders?

I'm not sure if this is incompetence, negligence or betrayal at this point? 🤔
Twenty-five Canadian diplomats were fired last year and another 11 abruptly quit under investigation, according to @GAC_Corporate. Wrongdoing included security breaches and suspicious activities in unnamed “country of concern.”
