Regenerating the Earth through resilient food systems

Joined August 2019
Healthy soil. Stronger farms. A more resilient food system.  This #WorldFoodDay, we're celebrating the people who make it all possible: farmers. Every harvest begins long before a seed is planted. It starts with the health of the soil beneath our feet and the farmers who care for it, season after season. Healthy soils do more than store carbon. They support productive farmland, improve water retention, strengthen resilience, and help sustain the food systems we all depend on. At Arva, we're proud to work alongside farmers and partners who are turning regenerative practices into measurable progress - creating value for the land, for farm businesses, and for the future of food. Because when we invest in soil health, we invest in so much more. To the farmers growing our food and caring for the land: thank you.  #WorldFoodDay #SoilHealth #RegenerativeAgriculture #ThankAFarmer

What does it take to turn sustainability goals into measurable action?  In Episode 3 of “From the Ground Up, with Arva,” Catherine Coteus, Arva’s Vice President of Sustainability, sat down with Rachel Grunberg, Director of Environmental Sustainability at @Hersheys, to talk about what it takes to build more resilient agricultural supply chains. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to agricultural sustainability. Companies need to understand what’s happening at the field level, identify where action can have the greatest impact, and build programs that connect environmental outcomes with the realities of farmers and supply chains. That’s where Arva comes in. Through our work in primary agricultural data, regenerative agriculture, measurement and verification, and supply-chain decarbonization, we help companies move from sustainability goals to credible, measurable outcomes on the ground. The conversation with @Hersheys is a great example of why that work matters - and why better data is only valuable when it can help inform better decisions and real-world action. From Farm Street to Wall Street Arva has been on the ground all week at Climate Week NYC - panels, roundtables, Q&As, and more as we listen in and contribute to the conversation. Today it took us to @Nasdaq for the launch of na2.hubs.ly/H07ZCNP0's Environmental Attributes Registry, and we are proud to be among the first adopters of this infrastructure. With na2.hubs.ly/H07ZCNP0 and Millpont, we'll accelerate the issuance of high-quality Environmental Attribute Certificates for our CPG and biofuel clients. Alongside @PerdueFarms, we announced the Environmental Board of Trade (EBOT): shared governance and verification rules for regenerative agriculture. As founding members, we are thrilled to continue to help establish an industry-led governing body to advise @https://na2.hubs.ly/H07ZCNP0 on standards and market oversight.  If you’re interested in learning more about EBOT here: na2.hubs.ly/H07ZCNR0  “As I reflect back, twenty-five years ago, my office at @Instinet looked straight out at the @Nasdaq board in Times Square. Ten years ago, Mark Isbell, Dr. Ben Brown, Dr. Dan Jacobsen, and I started a research project to use data and AI to improve farming. Today, that journey brought me back to Times Square, and this time Arva is on the board.” - Jay McEntire, CEO and Co-Founder  Stay tuned for more of our #ClimateWeek26 updates.  #ClimateWeekNYC #CarbonMarkets #RegenerativeAgriculture

Today, Arva and @PerdueFarms announced the formation of an Environmental Board of Trade (EBOT) to bring common governance and standards to environmental attribute markets. To power this initiative, we are partnering with na2.hubs.ly/H07TTcN0 as the first adopters of their newly launched Environmental Attributes Registry. With MillPont providing independent field-level geospatial provenance, this infrastructure will initially track agricultural carbon intensity before expanding to other environmental verticals. EBOT represents an important step toward creating a more transparent, interoperable framework that delivers greater confidence for buyers while creating clearer, science-based opportunities for farmers to be rewarded. This scalable infrastructure replaces isolated, custom programs with a single, neutral market infrastructure, giving farmers a dependable way to monetize environmental stewardship and corporate buyers the investment-grade proof they need. Read the full announcement to learn more and join us in building the institutional infrastructure for regenerative agriculture: na2.hubs.ly/H07TTcP0 Thank you to @PerdueFarms, na2.hubs.ly/H07TTcN0, and MillPont for your partnership. #RegenerativeAgriculture #CarbonMarkets #Scope3 #Agtech #SupplyChain #EnvironmentalMarkets

We're excited to share that Arva was featured by @NoTillFarmr in an exclusive article: Using Precision Data to Bridge the Gap Between Soil Health and Crop Economics Healthy soil is an environmental outcome. But for farmers, it also needs to make economic sense. For regenerative agriculture to scale, farmers need more than evidence that their practices are improving environmental outcomes.  That's where field-level data can play a critical role. Arva's CropForce™ platform combines primary field-level data with scientific models and AI-driven analysis to help quantify regenerative outcomes at the field level. Creating greater transparency for growers and verified, audit-ready data for corporate buyers. When environmental outcomes can be accurately measured and connected to the supply chain, regenerative agriculture can become a source of new economic value for farmers while helping companies meet their sustainability and supply chain objectives. As @NoTillFarmr puts it, the question is how growers can turn verified environmental outcomes into financial assets. Read the full article to explore how Arva is solving this using precision data to help connect soil health, environmental outcomes, and farm economics. na2.hubs.ly/H0769ZL0  #RegenerativeAgriculture #SoilHealth #PrecisionAg #AgTech #Sustainability #FarmEconomics

We're excited to share that Arva was featured in Sustainability Magazine's 2026 Report: Executive Insights from Leading Companies Shaping the Future of Sustainability. In the feature, our CEO & Co-Founder, Jay McEntire, shares that the challenge is no longer solely increasing crop yields, but producing food in ways that improve soil health, strengthen resilience, and reduce environmental impact while maintaining farm profitability.  The next phase of growth is expected to come from closer integration between agronomic expertise, artificial intelligence, environmental data, and supply chain collaboration.  The organizations shaping the future of regenerative agriculture will be those that can align environmental stewardship with stronger farm economics and make regenerative practices commercially viable at scale. This points the conversation towards a pivotal question - Is sustainability still a cost center in your business, or has it become a profit center?
