I got to meet @JJWatt today at his popup in San Francisco. It was an unbelievable experience (better yet, it's my birthday!).
I think @backlon may remember that there was a time when webOS offered the Pivot magazine featuring TouchPad apps and the stories behind them/the developers. Maybe he should be called to the stand as a rebuttal to remind everyone of the good old webOS days 😭

“I might be biased, but I certainly think what we do is incredibly unique and I certainly have not seen any marketplace that distributes apps or games do what we’re doing in terms of providing marketing and editorial support like this to developers.” And Fischer notes it’s free.
So... saw the strangest thing today. Unfortunately the dash cam wasn’t in a great position

What I said yesterday may not be the same today but I always say help each other not stab in their back.
Underrepresented peeps take extra efforts to get even & this is why we should try inspiring one another. Thanks, @iambolajiayo for the interview❤️

I’ve hired a few people in my time.
I’ve never been disappointed by hiring someone who is less technical but is a great human who cares for others.
I can teach tech pretty easily.
But boy have I seen people who are strong technical people with toxic attitudes destroy a team.

Other #webOSmemories: that time I may have caused HP’s stock price to take a hit due to an April Fools joke that was sadly and painfully believable. Whoops.
And the fact that I first met @germboy in SF during that Think Beyond event despite us having (unknowingly at the time) lived in the same city.
And @SirKneeland, or shall I say “Last Man Standing.” I still remember the hackathon at the Computer History Museum and the massive case of TouchPads that barely fit in his Zipcar. And the ride back to the office I’ll never forget 😲
And the time when @derekakessler went to the HP gram office in 2012 (I think?) and I was cautioned against meeting up with him for dinner for fear I would leak details.
A thread:
So many memories today from the world of webOS now that it’s been 10 years since the Pre was released. I’ve got many #webOSmemories it would be impossible to list them all. The best things from that time would definitely be the people.
Thanks to everyone for all of the experiences from the webOS community and all of the amazing people who worked at palm. And thanks to @adora for organizing the #webOSmemories hashtag.
