The 3D version of PAN'S LABYRINTH will be locked away in some digital vault after this week, so you should definitely see it ASAP. It's beautiful, immersive, and brings new life to this film.

There is a passionate group of 3D enthusiasts. We order from Japan, nowadays. It’s the US that abandoned physical releases. Probably cuz they couldn’t sell more TV’s. But projectors still sell. Fight for it.

It took 6 days for a letter to get across town this week
Vote informed & vote early if you utilize what’s left of the US postal service this election🗳️

Guillermo del Toro: “Be very angry about how the world is being fucked, how your craft is being pulled away from you, how people are trying to move you away from the arts and tell you they’re not important. Be angry that things are being controlled by socially barely functional people that have a lot of money. Be angry about something. Be enraged about something” (Video: anakinspadawan / TikTok)

I don't write my reviews trying to get quoted in movie ads. That's a young critic's game. BUT it was a nice surprise to see my quote at the 16 second mark for this #Digger ad.
Along with Top Gun Maverick, that's two #TomCruise films that have asked to use my stuff. #Honored

BTW there is a “climate change” movie in release that Is NOT about climate change but the manipulation of narratives - and yes it is released by WB (possiblybthe very last movie WB as such will ever release) and has been deemed “excesive, overbaring” so- see it in a theatre…
I was a kid- And I remember this film- released by WB was “excessive, overbearing” etc and, in my country, Mexico- we were told that the Church explicitly considered it blasphemy. And here we are… I LOVE it more than ever- because it is NOT about possession but what the political narrative does with it. Glad WB takes risks- even now…

I think we’ve officially lost the plot if Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett using her platform, money, and political capital to support DOWN BALLOT DEMOCRATS across Texas is somehow a controversy.
For DECADES, the criticism has been that Democrats weren’t building a bench, weren’t investing down ballot, and were not doing enough to build lasting power in Texas.
Now she’s doing EXACTLY that, and suddenly the criticism is that she’s too focused on down ballot Democrats?
Now that I’ve disconnected, to do something fun, let me be clear: from now until Election Day, I won’t give an ounce of energy to addressing anything remotely negative or false & clearly this trend is going to continue.
Instead I will pour into the amazing candidates that have APPLIED to be endorsed by @thefirepac & received our nod. I’ll be sure to point to the real opposition & finally I’ll say thank you to the REAL ONES… that can always see through the BS 🙏🏾. The more we fight one another, the less we are fighting the people that put us here… and love me or hate me, I DID NOT GET US INTO THIS BS!
I stand on my body of work that spans years that even preceded elected office & just like they divided & distracted folk during the presidential, they are doing it again. Nothing I’ve done has taken food, healthcare, nor jobs away from the people I swore to rep. I will use my influence to support those that support making lives better. ✌🏾 If you aren’t talking about a R… and the lives being ravaged by them, you aren’t helping to contribute to a solution.

Hey Senator @Eric_Schmitt — I love Caitlin Clark but never saw her or Jack Smith at an Atlanta Hawks game.

This is priceless.
Check out how local news is reporting on Sen Eric Schmidt’s clown-show grilling of Jack Smith.
They found Jack Smith at the game…
“Top corner, section 109, row 1. In fact, that seat doesn’t even exist in Atlanta.”
