Arthrex #innovation featured in NFL Week 3 🏈 Fans were hyped to see @AtlantaFalcons quarterback @themikepenix return to play for #ThursdayNightFootball after tearing his ACL last season. @NealElAttrache, MD, reconstructed Penix’s left knee using a quadriceps tendon autograft and lateral extra-articular tenodesis to provide further stabilization. Penix previously had two ACL surgeries on his right knee using his patellar tendons to reconstruct the ACL. Thanks to the @NFLonPrime team, including sports medicine analyst and physical therapist @SNFMikeRyan, for helping educate viewers on the innovative techniques helping NFL pros like Penix get back on the field.
