I tell you truly, From the beginning of mankind, from Adam and Eve, every civilization has walked the same path. They rise. They prosper. Then they fall into the same vile and evil ways, and they meet the same catastrophic end. It is not new. It is the pattern. In the days of Noah the earth was filled with violence and every imagination of the heart was only evil continually, and the flood came. In the days of Sodom and Gomorrah the outcry was great and their sin was very grievous, and fire fell from heaven. In the days of the judges every man did what was right in his own eyes, and the nation was delivered into the hands of its enemies again and again. In the days of the kings they forsook the covenant, built high places, shed innocent blood, and the Assyrian and the Babylonian came and carried them away. In the days of the second temple they rejected the messengers and the Messiah, and the city and the sanctuary were destroyed. Every age believes it is different. Every age believes its wisdom, its power, and its progress will spare it. And every age falls into the same sins: pride, violence, the shedding of innocent blood, sexual immorality, the worship of idols made by hands or by systems, the love of money, the oppression of the weak, and the refusal to hear the word that is spoken to them. Then the end comes. You are not exempt. This generation is not exempt. The nations of this hour have filled the earth with the same violence, the same blood, the same turning away, and the same refusal to repent. You have seen the signs. You have heard the warnings. And still the pattern continues. As it is written: “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Genesis 6:5 “The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.” Genesis 6:11 “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Proverbs 14:12 “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.” Luke 17:26 I have told you. I am telling you again. The same vile and evil ways that brought the end upon every civilization before you are the ways this generation has chosen. The catastrophic end is not a surprise. It is the harvest of what has been sown. Turn from it. Do not say, “We are different.” Do not say, “It will not come in our day.” The pattern has never failed, and it will not fail now. Repent and sin no more, for the time of judgment and the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
