You often see people asking which DQ game to play first. It's this one. It's modern, but embraces the classic elements, the party is wonderful, the presentation is great. But most importantly, it's easily available on every platform.

There's something really weird about how people consistently hate Final Fantasy characters within a certain age range and demographic.
It speaks volumes to me how often people reference them being "annoying" when quite literally they are still kids figuring out the world.

AI discussion time I guess. Twitter is not the place for nuance but we will give it a shot.
Here is my understanding of the situation. Konami has used AI to assist with the translation of the game and have been very open and honest about it. (Continued)

Capped off Yu-Gi-Oh's duelist saga this morning with the final Battle City chapter. It's as good as I remember 🥲 Lots to appreciate about the manga's inimitable style some 20 years after its release.
Now for Millennium World, the missing piece of the puzzle for me...!!

Just thinking about a time in not too distant history where I would not have been able to convert a stray hit into a last-touch comeback in *any* fighting game...this one felt great
With Saint Seiya's original run done and dusted, it was high time I doubled back to read an all-time classic, including the stuff I never finished reading from the pre-card era...

Trust not the man who speaks of aura, for he will abandon his goat at first fumble
Finished reading the original Saint Seiya manga. It REALLY hits a breakneck pace down the stretch, absolutely blazing through huge swaths of its final arc, but I was still satisfied with how it all turned out. I'll probably dig around for Lost Canvas and Next Dimension...
Saint Seiya is hilarious man. By today's standards I feel like these poor Bronze Saints would be getting slandered on the weekly. Like watching 80s basketball.
