Drones are terrifying. They literally scream as they approach you, like an Aztec death whistle. I experienced this firsthand during a live demonstration in Hyderabad recently (vid coming soon). "But if you can hear them coming, why don't you just take aim and knock them out of the sky?" These drones are tiny and ridiculously fast. Their payloads are small but lethal. Even the world's best sharpshooter has no chance of hitting one. It's like trying to hit a hummingbird with darts. Net-based systems are also useless. By the time the net deploys and is airborne, the drone is somewhere else. This is why companies like Armory are so important. They're building an invisible shield for Indian soldiers.
