Very cool to see
Also very cool to have another original creator of a iconic game now in the crypto industry

With #GTA6 nearing launch, it's worth remembering where it all started.
This first image spawned the first prototype, which in turn helped spawn the second. And the rest as they say.... is history.
You can see a printout of this image, just over my shoulder. This picture was taken while making the prototypes, sometime in 1994.

If you’re just waking up in United States know that gta 6 is due in a month. This narrative of the og Dev getting screwed and devving a coin is crazy imo, just DD and full port lol NFA

Do you remember playing Snake on a Nokia phone? 🐍
No internet
No fancy graphics
No endless features
Just you, a tiny screen, and one goal:
DON’T HIT THE WALL
That simple game became one of the most recognizable gaming experiences of its generation.
Now imagine taking that same nostalgia and giving it a completely different purpose
That’s what caught my attention with @SnakeOG779727
SnakeOG is bringing the classic Snake experience into the Solana ecosystem, with the original creator behind the Nokia version
But this isn’t just a nostalgia play
The game is being built around a Skill2Earn model
You actually have to play.
You have to improve.
You have to compete.
And your performance matters.
Players can jump into tournament modes, compete across different environments, track their performance, review previous runs and climb through different tiers.
There are already multiple game environments live, with tournaments running throughout the day, while new game modes are also being developed. 🐍
And honestly, this is the part I find interesting.
Crypto gaming has spent years trying to convince people that games are fun because there’s a token attached to them
SnakeOG is taking the opposite approach:
Make the game fun first.
Make skill matter.
Then reward the players.
That difference matters.
Because you don’t need someone to explain Snake to you.
You already know how to play.
What changes is the environment.
Your old Nokia Snake was about chasing a high score.
SnakeOG turns that same competitive instinct into tournaments where players can actually compete for rewards.
And with the game now available on Solana and live on Seeker, this feels like more than another meme trying to borrow the Snake name.
It feels like a legendary piece of gaming history getting a second life.
From Nokia…
to Solana. 🐍
The OG Snake era might not be over
It might just be getting started again.
I see a lot of potentials over here

GM all, different tweet today, for an important cause.
What happened with @COLDCARDwallet is not the end of Bitcoin and this tweet from @JWWeatherman_ wasn't a prediction, it was a legit thought that everyone with a bit of brain could've tought about it, or maybe he knows something from the system or the guys working for it.
It's a reminder that no security system is infallible.
Back in the Nokia era, phones stored almost nothing of value. No banking apps, no crypto wallets, no cloud accounts, no digital identities. Most people used their phones to call, send SMS, and maybe play Snake. The attack surface was tiny because there was very little worth stealing.
Today, a single device can hold your entire net worth.
That's why the lesson from the Coldcard incident isn't "Bitcoin failed" or "self-custody failed."
The lesson is: never trust a single point of failure.
Many people hear "hardware wallet" and immediately move 100% of their funds into one device because it feels safe and simple. But simplicity often creates concentration risk.
The first rule of self-custody isn't owning your keys.
The first rule is diversification.
Spread funds across multiple wallets, providers, devices, and security models.
Use multisig.
Keep offline backups of your seed phrases.
Store them in different locations.
Assume that every hardware manufacturer, software developer, exchange, and service provider can eventually make a mistake.
The recent Coldcard vulnerability reportedly affected seed generation on multiple device generations and led to the compromise of hundreds of wallets. The issue wasn't Bitcoin itself — it was trust placed in a specific implementation.
This is similar to what Mt. Gox was years ago:
a black swan event that exposed weaknesses in infrastructure, not in Bitcoin.
Snake became a global phenomenon because it was simple. A small game on a simple device built trust through reliability, not complexity. Today we've built financial systems infinitely more powerful, but also infinitely more complex.
The average person wants three things:
• Maximum security
• Maximum speed
• Maximum simplicity
The reality is that you rarely get all three at the same time.
The future of self-custody isn't blind trust in hardware wallets.
It's layered security, diversification, multisig, and personal responsibility.
You can't stop every thief.
But you can make stealing from you so difficult that they move on to an easier target.

Imagine doing endless KYC & sharing personal data on @moonpay just for a $5 airdrop... only to lose it on the next shitcoin rug. 💀
Why even bother doing this when we have the creator of Snake @ArmantoTaneli (yes, the one from Nokia) now on @solanamobile with his P2E game, ogsnake.world ?
Here, users can participate in daily tournaments and self-sustain a unique rewards system by spending just a few minutes of their day.
Each tournament lasts 24 hours:
- 1st place gets 7.5x their entry fee
- 2nd place gets 6.4% of their entry fee
- 3rd place gets 5x their entry fee
- 4th place breaks even at 60% to 80% of their entry fee
But most importantly, the more people play consistently throughout the 24 hours, the faster, more frequent, and more substantial the airdrops become for the players. These airdrops are rewarded based on specific data, meaning players can still earn even if they aren't great at the game itself.
📊 Earn based on data, even if you lack gaming skills.
🔒 No personal data required & takes just minutes a day.
