It was a pleasure for the headmaster to meet Mr Laurie Lancaster this morning when he made a visit to school. Mr Lancaster was a boarder from 1946 to 1952 while his father was a bank manager in County Donegal. After leaving school Mr Lancaster also joined the bank and worked...
in several branches on both sides of the border. Mr Lancaster shared several stories about RSA life in the early post-war years with Mr Montgomery. He was very impressed with developments at school, particularly the growth in pupil numbers and the development of the buildings.
