Considering our test scores are going up, our GDP is going up, and our revenues are at record levels, Iโm going to say No. But thanks for your input. #arpx #arleg
Is Arkansas committing educational and economic suicide? Vouchers went largely to families already in private and home schools. The state did not create new choices, it just started paying for old ones. KMI

๐จArkansas, in all sincerity, this is a lie. The truth is @hallieshoffner just forced a nonprofit for adults with developmental disabilities to relocate a meeting so their clients wouldnโt be exposed to a political protest. She has embarrassed herself and our community.
Hereโs what actually happened today:
MARVA Workshop (Mid-Arkansas River Valley Abilities Workshop) had a working meeting with the U.S. Department of Labor to discuss services, jobs, and support for the adults with developmental disabilities they serve. Senator Tom Cotton helped make the meeting happen. This was not a campaign event.
Shoffner was likely tipped off and showed up with protesters at the same time and place as this meeting.
However, MARVA staff learned of this plot in advance and moved the meeting to a more secure location specifically so their staff and the adults in their care wouldnโt be put in the middle of a campaign protest.
Despite Hallieโs best efforts to disrupt the event, the meeting still happened as planned. A productive discussion took place that was focused on supporting vulnerable members of our community.
While Cotton was doing the actual work of a senator, the Shoffner campaign turned it into a circus and forced a nonprofit to scramble to protect the people they serve.
Hallie, you owe this community, especially MARVA Workshop, a huge apology for this embarrassing behavior.
๐จNFA is dead. Paid my @GunOwners membership. You should too. This is a huge win for the Second Amendment.

Proud to have helped make Arkansas the defense capital of America.
The missiles made in Arkansas keep our soldiers and allies safe.

Justice.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has recommended โ and President Donald J. Trump has approved โ death by U.S. Army firing squad for convicted terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan, the jihadist who opened fire on unarmed American soldiers at Fort Hood in 2009. He killed 13 people and wounded 32 others while shouting โAllahu Akbarโ during the attack.
The Secretary of the Army will set the time and place of the execution. Judgement day for Hasan has finally come.
I have a love/hate relationship with Trump. Never voted for him in a primary. However, I admittedly love much of what he is doing policy wise, as he is a generational agent of change that has been an appropriate response to the rabid Left.
When he doxxes a Senator's personal number over something as retarded and inconsequential as Day Light Savings - there are a million other issues significantly more important than that. The clock is ticking on his administration and he's wasting precious time and support with childish moves like this.
Do you know what else we don't like?
Replying to @SenTomCotton
Respectfully, LEARNS is nothing short of a success story. Our students, public or otherwise, are significantly improving academically; my two students have also excelled academically.
We can agree to disagree on several issues, but I promise you, thousands of Arkansas families will not turn their backs on this program.

Has our childrenโs education become a political scheme? @SarahHuckabee @ARGOP @ArkDems
Iโve heard the same story again and again: schools are concerned about grades, they report it, and the state changes the letter grades. At what point is this going to be enough for everyone to realize our children are not pawns?
LEARNS is not working. Jacob Oliva is not the one that needs to lead Arkansas education, and that is true of too many of Governor Sandersโ appointments.
It is sickening to hear โLEARNS worksโ while our kids spend week after week practicing the ATLAS test. That test was created by the state. It is not a nationally recognized assessment. Valuable classroom time is being used to cram for a political metric instead of teaching children.
Private schools, charter schools, and homeschools often do better for a simple reason: they are not forced to waste instructional time on irrelevant state tests designed to serve political ambitions.
Arkansas owes its children a general, suitable, and efficient system of free public schools. That is the standard. We are not meeting it.
As governor, I will Appoint a qualified public-school professional from Arkansas to lead education, put two working public educators at the table to help pass bills that actually help schools, and repeal the policies holding them back return to nationally recognized testing so we can honestly measure how Arkansas students compare to other states.
We will eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in the public schools with accountability all while finding better solutions for each area to give them the true tools they need. We have more troubled kids now than in history and we are not solving the problem by just letting them pass by and letting them fall behind.
Our kids deserve education, not political theater.
The great thing about Coach Cal and this fresh @RazorbackMBB team he's assembled is that we get to fall in love with them all over again.
A legitimate moderate farmer would address these accusations early and head on. A wealthy nonprofit activist who would trade 5 Americans for an illegal Peruvian transgender farm worker would avoid answering those claims it like the plague.
Tom Cotton is spending millions of dollars lying about me.
If you want to talk about me, Tom, come home and say it to my face.
Debate me.
Iโve agreed to the Arkansas TV debate. The people of Arkansas deserve to hear from both of us and decide for themselves.
Iโm showing up. Iโm listening. And Iโm going to keep fighting for Arkansas.
Early voting starts October 19.
Election Day is November 3.
Come join us. Letโs win this race.
