Honored to welcome Red Cross President & CEO Cliff Holtz and Chad Priest, VP for the Southwest & Rocky Mountain Division, to our Northwest Arkansas Chapter Thursday, a great chance to connect with the volunteers and staff who show up for our neighbors every day.
⚠️ Storms are moving across Arkansas today.
Watch = flooding possible.
Warning = flooding is occurring or happening soon
Avoid flooded roads, seek higher ground if needed.
Turn around, don't drown. 🚗🌊
HAPPY WORLD BLOOD DONOR DAY! 🥳❤️
Huge thanks to our Missouri–Arkansas donors, you gave 180,000+ units of blood in the last year. Nearly 25,000 of you donated for the very first time.
Whether it was your first donation or your fiftieth, you helped save lives. 🩸✨
With the heat index hitting triple digits this week, its important to know how to stay safe during extreme heat!
CPR/AED Awareness Week is here!
Did you know there are AEDs located all around your community?
Knowing where to find and how to use an AED can literally save a life!
May is Trauma Awareness Month.
We can't predict when a trauma will happen, but your donation helps make sure hospitals have necessary blood products on hand the moment an injured patient arrives.

At the Red Cross, we never stop helping, and the numbers tell the story.
In April, we helped more than 270 families and nearly 800 total people in 172 zip codes who experienced house fires, tornadoes and storm damage.
When disaster strikes, we answer the call.
Even war has rules.
Join us Tuesday, May 12, from 4:30–5:30 p.m. for a game-themed International Humanitarian Law virtual presentation — interactive, engaging, and open to Youth & Young Adults.

During Military Appreciation Month, we honor the courage and sacrifice of our service members. From the moment they take the oath to serve, the American Red Cross supports them 24/7, delivering emergency messages and helping them stay connected to loved ones when it matters most.
When the storms moved out, our volunteers answered the call.
Red Cross volunteers are on the ground in storm-impacted communities, assessing damage and connecting families with support.

From the Missouri-Arkansas Region to the Pacific, our Red Cross volunteers have answered the call in Guam and Saipan. They left early, some waited through delays in Japan, and now they’re on the ground helping communities recover after Super Typhoon Sinlaku.
In the days ahead, they’ll be bringing shelter, food, comfort, and care to people facing an incredibly difficult time. We’re so proud of these volunteers for showing up when it matters most.
