Proud of this fellow for speaking out.
Whether you always agree with us or not, there is always going to be a place for you - and people who look like you and me - within the Democratic Party.
It is the responsibility of a political party to earn the support of its coalition, not the responsibility of voters to endlessly court a party that increasingly treats them with contempt. That is one of the most elementary principles of representative democracy.
I spent years involved in Republican politics. I stuck my neck out for this party, bent over backwards defending it, worked on campaigns, and stood by people even when doing so wasnāt particularly easy. I genuinely believed in what I was doing.
I wasnāt pretending to be a conservative, and I certainly wasnāt involved in Republican politics because I had nothing better to do with my time. I gave that movement a great deal of my energy because I believed there was a place for me in it.
And after all of that, I have to sit here and watch people like Bo French insinuate that Iām not an American because of where my family comes from?
If voting according to my conscience makes me a ālibtard,ā then so be it
I still havenāt heard @JanCBS disavow Islamophobia

Unless this is pure sarcasm, as a Catholic, I find Crawford's comment here disgusting. Completely detached from what was actually in the video.

Agree or disagree (as I happen to) with them, but this kind of ultra-in group nonsense, which just so happens to have to characterized most, if not all, far-left regimes in the last 75 years, is not the way to build a successful movement or power.

Jan, how exactly was El-Sayed "owned" here? Presumably you think Tommy got the better of the exchange when he refused to disavow the reading of religious doctrine into the laws of our country. Is that your view? On that point, was Tommy right and El-Sayed wrong?

I donāt even particularly love AES (although I respect him and want him to win) but this is a CBS reporter openly saying āIslamophobia is cool and greatā

such a strong endorsement, from a guy whose endorsement is surely coveted
Not sure why people keep asking if I'm voting for @RogerMarshallMD next month. Of course I am. Kansas voters have a clear choice between Marshall and a liberal Democrat who wants to make Chuck Schumer majority leader and block President Trump's judicial nominees.

The death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person. The common good can be safeguarded and the requirements of justice can be met without recourse to capital punishment: effective systems of detention have been developed that protect citizens while at the same time do not completely deprive those who are guilty of the possibility of redemption. #NoDeathPenalty

Democrats aren't bad, as a party, at winning votes. The only chamber they've frequently lost the popular vote in is the House, and even that's split 10-7 since 1992.
But they aren't nearly as good at winning votes *in the places our systems forces them to need*
I agree with this, and that is why Iām against the death penalty.
I donāt understand why supporters of capital punishment would think this. (Dunno if Sean is one).

I have followed Dr. Annie Andrewās seemingly quixotic campaign for over a year, and today I am fully endorsing her Senate in SC. As the parent of a severely disabled child, I am especially proud of her.
Now that the campaign is close, my uncle chimes in with his hurtful and infantile nicknames. I have been in the crosshairs of those broadsides. As we say in Queens, ādonāt take crap off no oneā. Happy to help. Letās get this done. FT @AnnieAndrewsMD @DNC @dscc @SCdems
bro LBJ won 61-39 in the biggest popular vote landslide since FDR
In 1964, Democratic incumbent LBJ wouldn't face Arizona's own Barry Goldwater. Now, on October 6, 2026, Katie Hobbs won't face @AndyBiggs4AZ.
When dangerously incompetent Democratic incumbent Katie Hobbs hides from the debate stage, it's because her record is too weak to defend.
Iām just seeing a lot of folks writing things about the Cornell rape case where I am just thinking you know, you donāt actually HAVE to tweet

Every Republican in every red state is convinced that their state is run by a secret cabal of democrats who are the source of all wrong and that they must reelect the incumbent republicans to get rid of that cabal, which they did not do in their previous term
