Dear Lord, Today, take the frustration out of my waiting, settle my mind when answers take longer, keep worry from stealing my peace, stop me from rushing ahead of You, give me patience with what I can’t control, confidence in what You’ve promised and enough faith to believe that You already have what I’m asking for. God, I trust You and I trust Your timing. In Jesus’ name, amen🙏🏽

Question. Who is funding Nigerian Christian Music Industry? EbukaSongs is "allegedly" facing backlash because of the way he chose to mourn the death of ToluwaniSing. I have watched that video. I wont share it. But who is funding the new found lifestyle of our Gospel artists?

Frank Aideyan wrote: A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, "Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like." The Lord led the holy man to two doors. He opened one of the doors, and the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water. The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles strapped to their arms, and each managed to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful, but because the handles were longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths. The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering. The Lord said, "You have seen Hell". They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew, which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here they were well-nourished and plump, laughing and talking. The holy man said, "I don't understand." "It is simple," said the Lord, "it requires but one skill. You see, they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves.

Jeffrey Archer, 1940–2026 “If you make a deal with a fool, don’t be surprised when they act foolishly.” - Jeffrey Archer, 'Only Time Will Tell' Jeffrey Archer was a storyteller who understood ambition, power, betrayal, consequence and the strange turns of human fortune. Nigerians who grew up reading Kane and Abel, The Prodigal Daughter, Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less and his many other works will recognise how often his fictional worlds seemed uncomfortably familiar. Yesterday, the storyteller left the world at 86, but his stories remain; a reminder that ultimately, #legacy is what survives us. Remarkably, his final novel, Adam & Eve, is being published today, 6 October, bringing a fifty-year writing career to a close. Adieu!

If you listen to Cain, he will tell you that righteous Abel was the problem. If you listen to Potiphar’s wife, she will tell you that righteous Joseph was the wicked man. If you listen to Pharaoh, he will tell you that Moses was an enemy of the state. If you listen to Saul, he will tell you that loyal David was a traitor. If you listen to Haman, he will convince you that Mordecai was a dangerous enemy. If you listen to Ahab and Jezebel, they will tell you that Elijah, the prophet of God, was the troublemaker. If you listen to the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, they will tell you that the sinless Jesus was a blasphemer. If you listen to Judas Iscariot, he will find a way to justify betrayal. If you listen to Pontius Pilate, he will wash his hands while Truth stands directly in front of him. And if you listen to the world, do not be surprised when it calls righteousness evil and evil good. My friends, listen carefully: a lie does NOT become Truth simply because it is repeated loudly, confidently, or by powerful people. Be careful what you hear. Be careful whom you believe. Be careful whom you follow. Test everything by the Word of God. The world may condemn you for standing for Biblical Truth but the only verdict that ultimately matters is His!!! Stand firm. Stand faithful. And above all, listen to Jesus.

On behalf of the Government and good people of Ogun State, we express our profound gratitude to His Excellency, President @officialABAT, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, whom we proudly acknowledge as the Facilitator-in-Chief of this transformational project. For nearly 30 years, the vision of a deep seaport along our coastline was proposed, discussed and captured in official documents, yet it remained unrealised. Today, through the foresight, courage and determined leadership of President Tinubu, that long-standing aspiration is finally being transformed into reality. Great nations are not built on intentions alone, but by leaders with the political will to turn possibilities into progress. By providing the strategic direction and enabling environment required, Mr. President has revived a vision that remained on the drawing board for three decades. With the Gateway Deep Seaport and the Blue Marine Special Economic Zone, we are opening a new chapter for Ogun State and positioning Nigeria to become an even stronger force in global trade, maritime commerce, industrialisation and economic development. We deeply appreciate Mr. President and the Federal Government for their unwavering support and commitment to making this historic vision a reality. Posterity will indeed be kind to you, Mr. President.

We have taken another significant step towards unlocking the economic potential of Ogun State with the signing of Memoranda of Understanding with DP World MEA FZE for the development of the Gateway Deep Sea Port and the Ogun State Blue Marine Special Economic Zone. The projects, witnessed by our President, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in Paris, France, are expected to attract more than $7 billion in initial investment and create over 50,000 direct jobs, while opening new opportunities in manufacturing, logistics, maritime services, exports and other sectors. The Gateway Deep Sea Port in Ogun Waterside will be integrated with a proposed 10,000-hectare Blue Marine Special Economic Zone and connected to other strategic infrastructure, including the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and our Gateway International Airport. For us, this is about much more than building a port. We are creating an integrated economic corridor capable of connecting Ogun State’s productive capacity to markets across Africa and the rest of the world. We appreciate President Tinubu for the leadership and federal support that have helped move this long-standing vision closer to reality. We equally commend the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, the Nigerian Ports Authority and all our partners for their commitment. Under our Building Our Future Together agenda, we remain committed to attracting investments, creating jobs and positioning Ogun State as a leading industrial, logistics and investment destination.

A Nigerian vision on a global stage. At Times Square, New York City, our President/Chief Executive, Aliko Dangote, joined members of the Dangote leadership team as the story of Dangote Petroleum Refinery lit up one of the world’s most iconic locations. With him were Halima Aliko Dangote, Fatima Aliko Dangote, Zouera Youssoufou, David Bird, Murat Erden, Ibrahim Dikko Adamu, Muhammad Jamilu and Anthony Chiejina. A moment that reflects the scale of our ambition and our continued commitment to building world-class African enterprises. Made in Nigeria. Built for the world. #DangoteGroup #DangoteRefinery #MadeInNigeria #BuiltForTheWorld #TimesSquare

Dear Lord, Today, stretch my vision beyond what feels realistic, make doubt uncomfortable in my mind, put my gifts in places they’ve never reached, strengthen me for responsibilities I haven’t carried, deepen the grace on my life and make my purpose unmistakable. Let what You’re preparing me for require more of me without making me less of myself. in Jesus’ name. amen🙏🏽

Our engagement with His Royal Majesty, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, CFR, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, and other members of the Remo Traditional Council was deeply significant. Accompanied by our performing Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON; my running mate, Alhaja Kudirat Adegunwa-Balogun; and APC leaders, we reaffirmed our resolve to build upon the administration’s achievements and deliver balanced development across Ogun State. We also presented a 30-seater bus to the Traditional Council to support its activities. We are profoundly grateful to our royal fathers for their warm reception, words of encouragement and special prayers for our success.

The visit reflects the deep mutual respect between two highly revered monarchs and underscores the enduring bonds, shared heritage, and cultural unity that connect Nigeria’s great traditional institutions. #UgeOyoEkoro

Turn around. Face the thing you've been avoiding. Face it once, properly, and it shrinks. It's not be as big as your mind has been billing it. Just stop showing it your back. Stop running away. Deal with it. Deal with them as they come. Humans and situations... face them.

My mate back in England married his first ever girlfriend. They met at school. Never left our hometown. He still works at British Gas, the same company he joined at 21. Heads down the pub every Friday. They've got two kids, a garden, a dog. She still looks at him like he's the only man in the room. He's never read Atomic Habits. Never "worked on himself." Never bothered to optimize his supplement stack. I moved to four countries, built a business, reinvented my entire life. I wouldn't change any of it. But when he sends a photo of his family eating Sunday roast together, I think maybe we're all overcomplicating this.
