🚨 EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS🚨 RTs are Highly Appreciated I am currently experience financial situation here (🇵🇭) I need to move out asap from my current apartment for safety purposes as a stranger tried to get inside. A new data breach involving Double Counter has exposed information connected to Discord users affecting around 275,000 unique email addresses. According to Have I Been Pwned, the exposed data includes: -Email addresses -Discord usernames -Names -Geographic information -Country and postcode for some paying subscribers The breach was linked to a vulnerability in Metabase, the analytics platform used by Double Counter. If you’ve used Double Counter on Discord, check whether your email was affected and stay alert for phishing attempts or suspicious Discord messages.

Delayed, not dead. KOSA will for sure be back after the election. Senator Rand Paul was able to block the attempt to pass it with unanimous consent last week, but keep in mind that 76% of the senate are signed on as co-sponsors of KOSA. The bill requires data collection, censorship, and surveillance...and creates a de fact digital ID just to use the internet. Supporters say KOSA does not require age verification, but the policy creates legal obligations that require platforms to "know" which users are minors. 🧵
